I LOVE this movie of king Kong To me it's the best one they ever made.I've watched this movie since I was a little girl of 9 yrs. old that a lot of yrs. It's my favoritest movie ever.

This was a well put together movie. Don't own it, but I love it. I watched it when I was younger and still to this day whenever it come on AMC. Definately a classic.

very fasinating

our 18 month old loves this movie. he caught bits and pieces of it on TV so we had to find it for him. and we couldnt find it anywhere but on here! it was excellent quality and wasnt damaged at all. but it did take longer then what they said for it to get here. but all in all it was a really good buy for a really good movie!

good movie

They have tried many times over the years to make this movie better.  The original movie is still by far the best Kong movie made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] what a classic.  an adventure with a mysterious island, prehistoric creatures, and a lesson about letting animals be free.  would have given 5 stars except that they had a small monkey tied up at the beginning.

what a classic!

The film transfer was exceedingly grainy at times, and did not hold up well on a high definition display. However, considering the age of the film, this may be acceptable (although I have seen video transfers of other movies of the same age and even older that were much clearer).

My main complaint is the utter lack of special features. This disc includes an audio commentary with Ray Harryhausen, as well as interpolated interviews with some of the films stars. However, other than the commentary (and a few trailers), this DVD is barren.

Excellent film, unspectacular DVD

It skips and freezes. There are no visible scratches on the disk, but the movie is unwatchable. Too many freezes to count.
