Get this over walmart great value brand

First time using this brand of cornstarch. So far it's been good for cooking and baking.

. . . you know . . . cornstarch.  I like the way you can re-close the box, and the price is right too.

It's . . .

I bought these a few months ago and was using some to make sweet and sour chicken today. There were bugs inside the box…. Still moving. I decided to sieve all the cornstarch to see if it was an odd two that I first saw… lo and behold there were about 20 nasties left in my sieve. This box was still closed and was newly opened. In addition, the expiration date was dated 2027. Seems like a bad batch!

Not sure how cornstarch can be bad as it is one ingredient. But I fried chciken with a cornstarch flour mix the other day with Fleishcmanns brand and they were amazing. Cooked exactly the same way today with this cornstarch and it was not sticking and the batter was falling apart. Stick with Fleishcmanns- Canadian made too!
