Great curl definer. Works best with Cantu leave-in conditioner.  It's the best combination for my gray, 4c hair texture. After a few days, I spray my hair with water %26 pinch the ends. No flaking, it's my favorite curl definer but it's VERY pricey! Easily last a week without reapplying the product.

I have 3c/4a hair and this gel is a staple. It keeps my hair hydrated and holds well. Smells like marshmallow. It's so expensive because I go through a jar in 1 month, but worth it.

kinky culy

It took several attempts to make this product work for my 3b shoulder length hair.  After washing, I sqweeze much of the water out with a tshirt. It takes quite a good dollop of curling custard for each side of my head, work it in very well with your fingers, avoid the scalp. I add twists all over, scrunch it again lightly with my wet tshirt then I do not touch my hair for an hour. Next, blow dry using a diffuser, still not breaking the cast with my hands but I do push clumps of hair up to my head with the diffuser.  When almost dry, I hand-scrunch and go! The hold in this product is beyond anything I've used and I'm 64 so have been dealing with curly hair for a long time! Yes, it's crunchy but it's easily scrunched out. I don't scrunch the cast if I'm going to bed but wait until morning.  I don't get any white flaking at all.

Felt it made my hair feel rough not silky

I did not receive the product I ordered. I was sent a product of a different size of the same brand. It is not the same product. I got an 8 oz. bottle of natural leave-in/detangling gel instead of a natural styling gel. The photo is misleading.
