Love this brewer. Absolutely no additional costs other than this unit to brew cold coffee or tea. Center has a very fine mesh filter to strain coffee. I get no fine residue. The spigot is tight and does not leak when turned in off position. Solid stainless unit,easy to clean, and the handle makes it easy to transport.  My first brewer used oversized filters that were hard to find and expensive. This one's a winner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love cold brew coffee and have tried several DIY methods using cheesecloth, coffee filters, thermoses, etc.  What a mess!  And not quite worth it.  I was elated to find this cold brew coffee maker, and bought it as a gift for my family.  It is amazingly easy to make cold brew now - and very easy to clean.  Great coffee - no more tedious messing around in the kitchen and no more mess.  The only thing that would make this better is if it included a means to course grind the coffee beans.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a coffee drinker for over 40 years and really started drinking iced coffee about 6 years ago. I would always have to put cream in it because it would give me heartburn from the bitterness. I drink the cold brewed coffee from this device with no cream or sugar and it is delicious. The set-up is easy and the clean up is too. The process takes 12-24 hours so you have to plan ahead but there is nothing for you to do but put in coffee and water.

Easy and Delicious

He did all the research and trust me he is a research fiend so if this passes with him it had to be awesome.  I was actually a little excited for him to get it and start using it.  He has done nothing but rave about all of it's features and has actually tried to convince me to get another one to make ice tea with.  We are actually gong to take this on our vacation when we travel out of country for 3 weeks.  I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

My Husband is in Love With This

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product will be critical to my wallet! I can easily brew it over the weekend and then it lasts throughout the week cutting down all my Dunkin' trips. 

In the past I tried to do my own home cold brew, but I didn't have a great way to filter it and it took like 3 containers to brew, filter and store it. This KitchenAid system cuts out all of those and makes it a simple 1 container solution that fits on the shelf in my fridge. I don't have to invent a crazy way to filter and there is no residue in my concentrate.

Simple Solution for my Iced Coffee obsession

Only issue I found is that the instructions only had the coffee and water measurements in metric.  I had to search for a metric to cups conversion on my phone.

Perfect size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would recommend this if you are serious about cold brew, do not mind having another appliance, and have room in your fridge to store it (my fridge is not very large). It is easy to use, nice design and solidly made. Instructions do say to use more coffee than I make at a time, however I adjusted coffee and water down and it worked out well. I used my Kitchen Aid burr grinder to grind on coarse (#2), filtered water and set on my counter for 24 hours. Was very tasty.

Cool Cold Brew - but yet another 'appliance'

[Employee of walmartcanada] Bought this today..followed instructions and two hours later there was coffee leaking all over my fridge...spout will not stop dripping ..Im so disappointed ..guess I will be returning it which makes me sad as I thought being a KitchenAid I was  buying a quality item
