I LOVE to bake cakes, cookies, and banana bread to give away as treats. My old mixer was on it's "last leg" and I decided I needed a new one. Kitchen Aid is a brand that I trust and my sister has the large mixer. I bought this mixer for myself. I like the silver color as it matches my other appliances, and has 9 speeds to choose from, which I think is great! This was a good buy, and I feel confident that it will last for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The power behind the hand mixer is potent and what an enormous difference in the brownie batter between my previous brownies and those made with this mixer. My brownie batter has improved 10 fold and now it is creamy and smooth.  The final result is in the baked brownies and even though my previous brownies were delicious, those made with this hand mixer are superb and beyond comparison.  I have also purchased the Kitchen Aide Pro Line Series 7 Quart Stand Mixer and can't wait to start making my breads and pizzas with it. I highly recommend the hand mixer to anyone who is looking to improve their cooking experience and end product.  Thank you for such a beautifu color; candy apple red.

Works seamlessly, am elated with the purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Treated myself with the 9-speed hand mixer. It is a bit pricy, but totally worth it. First of all, the 9 speeds migh seem too much, but it allows for a precise, almost surgical mixing, exactly the speed one wants and needs. Adding to that, it is SO quiet, One can actually still have a conversation while working.
Main reason I bought it was for the different attachments. I especially wanted teh pro wisk, as I do not like to beat egg white and cream with the "regular" beater. The liquid blending and dough hook are nice addition. Also, small thing, but the bag they are coming in has been extremlly helpful to keep thing organzized.

Quality Hand Mixer - worth the price

good mixer its not heavy like my old GE. i dont feel like its all that fast very disappointed with the speed. But its a mixer so i cant complain.

Love the mixer but the push arrow buttons are a bit difficult to use with arthritic fingers.  A slide tab control might be alot easier.  Also the mixer cannot sit on the edge of the bowl if necessary to stop mixing.  Quiet mixer.

9 speed hand mixer

I purchased this to replace an prior Kitchenaid mixer, which lasted 20 years. The older model was well-made, and worthy of the Kitchenaid name. This new one...every sticker on the unit is crooked and falling off. The unit seems to work well, but at this price, it should also not look like junk.
