I like the way it fits on my blender and it stays tight and then you can control the speed also from the blender I love it I can have fresh orange juice or grapefruit it's great it's lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can call me a KitchenAid fanatic. I have owned my mixer for over 13 years and I use its attachments, to make my everyday tasks easier. I recently acquired the citrus juicer attachment and I must say I am impressed. First off, the attachment was ready to use right out of the box. It came with the standard metal adapter that fits right into the attachment port on the top of the mixer and 3 other plastic pieces that make up the juicer. It has a decent sized plastic outer basin, which prevents the juices from spilling and a square strainer to catch the seeds and the pulp. The actual extracting bulb is small but very powerful. In order to use this attachment, the mixer must be turned to 6. At first, I honestly thought 6 would be too fast and make it hard for me to control. That was furthest from the truth, as the speed didn't make the extraction process difficult at all. In fact I was able to juice 3 oranges in less than 5 minutes. Though the orange juice was perfect for me, this wouldn't be the case for someone who dislikes pulp in their juice though. The extracted orange juice did contain a decent amount of pulp. I think this is due to the size of the holes in the strainer. To me this wasn't a deal breaker as this can be remedied with a simple household strainer. Overall, I think that if you buy orange juice or make mixed drinks with citrus, this attachment will make your life easier. In less than 5 minutes, you can have a sugar free, freshly squeezed glass of orange juice. You can call me a KitchenAid fanatic. Easy to use!

Kitchen Aid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this KitchenAid citrus juicer several weeks ago to add to my accessory collection for my KitchenAid mixer.  It is super easy to attached to my mixer and the juicer does a very good job.  The strainer also does a great job and is very easy to detach and clean.

Good quality accessory

Works pretty well with the stand mixer, but has a lot of parts and cleaning. Very easy to put on and take off...just a little bit weaker than I'd like. I have multiple citrus trees in my yard and got this so that I didn't get another machine for the countertop. Great for making decent quantities of juice.

Decent juicer if you already have a stand mixer

I have an orange tree, 2 lemon trees, and a lime tree. It works well for juicing but the plastic breaks down (the acidity of the juice?). Feel like it is contributing to microplastic consumption:( I wish they had a stainless steel version!

Works but need a stainless steel version!

The shaft siezed up in the juicer and I had to take it to my shop to press it out. The aluminum shaft had siezed up, heated up and began to soften the plastic. The bronze bearing was scored, and the metal particles had fused into the white plastic just past the bearing sleeve. I polished the shaft and bearing, but most consumers do not have the tools to do this ! I have used this attachment a few times, annually for citrus from our tree.

Good design; poor materials choice for components

Inconvenient, the juice splashes on the hand and around. I returned it to the store and replaced it with the juicer... Online service, great, fast delivery, easy return to store. Bravo Walmart.

Terrible design, because of the juicer being on the front, when you juice the oranges, the juice goes down your hand to your elbow, and then on the floor if the juicer was on top, this would not be an issue
