[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for a gift, I have already used this same model in the Culinary Arts program I recently graduated from with an Associate Degree. I have used my new mixer for making brownies and can't wait to get the meat/food grinder attachment to bring my culinary game up a few levels

Kitchen Aid

I recently needed to replace my 40 year old stand mixer.  I originally had the larger with most of the attachments.  Since my family size is smaller, I went with the smaller one.  I hope that all of my attachments will fit and work with this model.  Not many appliances last 40 years, and KichenAid should be very proud of making such a superior product.

Why did I wait so long? I absolutely love my new mixer. It makes it so much easier to bake. I wasn’t sure whether to get this KitchenAid or a less expensive brand, but I decided that the kitchen aid is better quality and would last the test of time.

My mom has had one my entire life that was her mom's so it was 40+ years old 😐 it finally gave retired it self awhile back and I been waiting g and saving money to buy her a new one for her bday 🎂. I have one with attachments and love the grinder for deer season.

This is my second KitchenAid mixer and I use it almost every day. I. Would have like to see the bowl scraper and the attachment with it to add ingredients while it is running. I do not drive very often and purchasing that at my local Walmart is a 45 minute drive one direction so it is quite a inconvenience.  Outside of that I absolutely love the mixer. I had one for many years, but it was a large commercial one and I just needed a smaller one.

Review of my new KitchenAid mixer

love my kitchen aid stand mixer. i bought this one for my daughter-in-law for, she loves it.

My husband gave me this exact model for our anniversary in 2001. This new one functions as it's supposed to, but the motor is very loud compared to the old one. I was making bread dough for a party & had them running side by side (see video). Other than that, I'm very please with it :-)

A Bit Loud

Was left in original box at my door. And a little banged up but luckily no damage inside. Good thing Im in a apt and its inside and no packages have been taken to my knowledge. But I feel it should have been put in another box so no one could see what it was.

Kitchen Mixer

This is a work horse  stand mixer and you can’t go  wrong with this one.  The technology is  state of the art 1955 and sold at a  premium price.  It is a USA brand and manufactured in China.  I was shocked to find that it came with a handeless bowl and shortly after it was delivered I revived a  solicitation to buy a bowl with a handle  for $69.99.  They eliminated a hand that would have cost them 50 cents so the could sell a 69.99 accessory.    The included bowl makes its use klunky

I expected much better durability from a KitchenAid mixer, especially considering the price and reputation. Unfortunately, mine started making a loud knocking/grinding noise after only 2½ years of normal home use. It was never abused or used commercially, so I was surprised to experience what appears to be an internal mechanical problem so soon.

For a premium appliance that's marketed as long-lasting, I expected many years of reliable performance. Now I'm faced with either paying for costly repairs or replacing the mixer altogether. While the mixer performed well when it was working, its longevity has been disappointing.

I hope KitchenAid improves the durability of its internal components or offers better support for customers who experience premature failures.
