I am very glad I bought this mixer. It is great for making breads, I have found it does get a warm when I make 2 sets of bread in a row, but seems to work well. I have many attachments and frequently make applesauce quick and easily with it. I was disappointed to not be able to get the 3-3.5 Qt bowl and beater for smaller batches, hopefully it will come back. I'm looking forward to making pasta and many other homemade foods.

I've been waiting years for one of these and they are every bit as awesome as I thought. Baking is so much easier and I'm more eager to do it now that I don't have to mix everything by hand. I can get the perfect consistency when I whip eggs and butter and mixing in flour is a breeze no matter how thick. I LOVE IT! This should be a staple in everyone's kitchen.

Best Purchase Decision EVER

I was hesitant about keeping it on my counter, but I made the decision to do it and I use it so much more then I ever though I would. It mixes so evenly, and its quiet. I just graduated a Culinary program and my instructor told me a kitchenAid is a staple for any successful kitchen. He was right. its a excellent investment!

I RELY ON MY KITCHEN AID MIXER!

I grew up learning how to bake with a KitchenAid Artisan and have been using one for the last 5 years. Now that my batches of cupcakes and cream cheese frosting have become a bigger undertaking, my boyfriend suggested upgrading to the Professional Series and as soon as I saw this beauty out of the box I knew I made the right call. Anyone who walks into my kitchen immediately says something about my mixer and loves the steel grey color. I read in several reviews prior to buying the mixer that KitchenAid upgraded them to a 6 quart bowl, and the same happened for me. Could not be happier with my new stand mixer!

Game Changer

I have been wanting a kitchen aid mixer since I first used one in my high school cooking class. Five years later, I finally got one and I am happier with it then I could have ever hoped. Since getting it I have vowed to never use a box mix again, which has been working out great for me.
Also, when the paint on the beater attachment started chipping, I called to find out what I could do and kitchen aid sent me a brand new beater without even a question.

I am completely obsessed

This is my second KitchenAid stand mixer, purchased for our summer home. My first one is the Professional 600 series which I bought 5 years ago. So when it came to buying the second one, it was a no-brainer. I would've purchased the Pro 600 again, but I found such an amazing deal on the Pro 5 Plus, that I couldn't turn it down. My 24 year old daughter even bought one for her new home because of the great deal I found! The only obvious difference is the handle on the bowl and the lack of the black rubber handle on the lift arm. I'm going to look into possibly getting one that I can install myself. You won't be disappointed if you buy either of these mixers. Everything in my kitchen is KitchenAid! :)

Love my Kitchen Aid stand mixer!

This mixer is powerful and quiet. I can whip up my baking dough in a matter of minutes, where it took me an hour by hand. I wished the head tilted UP out of the bowl, the lift feature is nice, but can make the bowl difficult to get in/out when its full, and if not mixed yet, spillage.
The attachments available, although pricey, are amazing and they make this machine the most versatile one in my kitchen. Its built with integrity, so I know it will last beyond my baking/cooking years and will be a great item to pass down to my daughter. Its made to last.
I love how quiet it runs, the adjustable speeds and the attachments. This is not just a kitchen appliance, its an investment and will last a lifetime. I have wanted THIS mixer since I was young and could not be more excited to finally have one of my own!

Have always wanted this mixer!!

this is my first standing kitchen mixer. a kid neighbor was here the other day and said, "whoa. that's like, what professionals use in their kitchens!" :') the ease of use is almost astonishing. it's the perfect size, too; the motor is strong enough to withstand long bouts of whipping but it isn't too big and cumbersome. a great addition to my kitchen gadgets and infinitely more useful.

I like the stand mixer and got it at a pretty fair price, but it sounds awful!  I've never owned a stand mixer before but mine makes an awful grinding noise when I turn it on.  

I've made a cake and some bagels with it.  It seems to work just fine, but I don't really like using it because of the awful sound.
