[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kitchen Aid Carbon Steel 10” Stir Fry is a great piece of cookware. It's a well designed piece that's easy to handle. It's not too heavy making it easy to toss your stir fry. The 10” inch size is perfect for a good sized meal and easier to store. This wok is versatile and  can do everything that a flat bottom sauté pan can. I'm excited to add this Stir Fry pan to my collection and add some new recipes to my collection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the KitchenAid Nitro Carbon Steel Wok free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I was so excited to receive this Wok. I have wanted a Carbon Steel cookware. I love that the pan is similar to cast iron that builds a seasoning and becomes non stick but is also lightweight. The pan is super versatile and the handle did not get hot when I was using the wok. The wok worked well, I just found the 10” a bit too small to use when cooking for a family. I am looking forward to using the wok again. I was so impressed with the Nitro Carbon Steel I would buy it in a pan.

Kitchen aid carbon steel frying pan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like this pan. Nice sauce size pan or smaller dishes. I love the depth of it so things stay contained neatly. Seems well made and sturdy. I did not pre-season it, so my pictures are after the first cook. Extremely easy to clean. It is pretty heavy for its size, holding by the handle with one hand was slightly strenuous on my wrist - I'm only aware because my mother has a hard time with heavier cookware, so this might not be the best option for people who need something lightweight. For me,  the weight is not a dealbreaker. I would recommend this pan for someone looking for something sturdy and versatile.

Great Quality, Sturdy, But Very Heavy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was so excited to try this pan out. We love to cook and I love the Kitchen-Aid brand. I learned real quick the one down side to the pan. If you don't wash it immediately it gets rust looking spots. Thats the only downside to it. It's study and made for stovetop to oven. It's not like a Teflon pan and things will stick so be aware of that. Now all of that said, I do love this pan. I have found myself using it more than I thought I would. I wash it as soon as I finishing cooking to protect it, treating and using it very much the same as I do my cast iron. If you are not a person who does a lot of cooking then this probably isn't the ideal pan for you, but if you enjoy cooking then you will love it.

Don't let this one sit

This pan I really do like it feels heavy duty and it's super easy to cook with and clean. No sticking. The downside I did notice some discoloration after the first use and I followed cleaning instructions and everything so that's kind of the bad part other than that it's a great walk and I would recommend it , if you don't mind the discoloration..

lovely wok

If you do not add oil, everything will stick to this pan. Glad it fits well in the dishwasher! Haha. This wok can be used on the grill, so I'm looking forward to doing that in the summer.

Compact and attractive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried with this pan, and I have used nonstick fofever because I prefer it, but I can cook with regular pans too. This pan did not pass the test with me.  I really wanted it to work, I also went to the trouble of using avocado oil and the oven to season it a bit.  I will say I did not give it the full hour in the oven because of the awful fumes it created in the house.  I have a parrot and I worried it would effect him in the other room.  I am disappointed because maybe that's the reason why it did not work out for me, but of it requires that much effort for the nonstick to work, I'm not patient enough to wait.  Plus I don't want to cook things like my sausage I cooked that will stick and burn and go to waste just to get my pan primed for cooking everyday. Maybe it would work if I used it more, but I'll just stick to my other pans and not waste food.

Nonstick? Maybe not.

I don't know if I did something wrong. It's heavy.  All sticked there, it was hard to clean. This pan does look like a good quality pan, maybe I did something wrong.

It was really nice looking, beautiful pan before I started cooking. My first dish the shrimps with spaghetti and I was extremely gentle. My pan got small dark dots on the bottom of the pan and visible discoloration, it wasn't as bad, but I noticed. My second dish a stew with beaf and potatoes, and it started sticking to the bottom even on a small heat and enough oil and water. You may see black burning on the bottom, it gave me really hard time to get rid of it. I have other pans and cook those dishes every couple weeks and I have never had such problem before. It is not a nonstick pan. Kitchen Aid needs to improve it, I'm disappointed.
