Magnet

I had big hopes for this tape measure. I like Klein, I liked the feel and action of this tape, as well as the double hooks. But then the return mechanism that automatically spins that tape back into itself reversed. My tape measure would push the tape out and would not let it go back in, making it useless. I used Milwaukee tape measures in the passed, but with those, the tape itself was weak and would dent and not roll up well after a short time. Not sure what brand I will try next I'm the search for a good functioning tape measure.

Broke after three uses.

Klein Tools

I tell all my first year apprentices that I recommend this tape because of all the information on the back of the tape. Especially with it being one of the tools you have on you 9 times out of 10 it. It helps them with circuit numbers and colors. Plus the multiplayer and deduct on pipe bending for me it's one of the best thing a new electrician that's learning to carry with them.

Best for price

I have a 9225 where the tape broke at the 3 1/2" mark which I'm holding it together with tape so it won't retract into the case. I would like to replace the tape portion but can't find any mention of replacement parts! I understand that this would not be a warranty item but it seems a waste not being able to fix this. I like the tape and it's features overall.

Broken tape with no parts available

What a piece of junk. I can't believe it. This is not a tool that they put the Klein name on. I am a big Kien fan. But this makes me second guess my blind allegiance to Klein. I have a ton of tape measures and this ranks as the worst tape measure I've ever bought. By the way I kept it just as they put might actually or should I say magically come back and prove it's worth magically.

The breaking point is perfect we compared it to all the other tape measures on the jobsite and it won easily.  Can't recommend this bad boy enough!

Just simply the best

I have one these tapes and my boss has bought 3 Milwaukee tapes and my still going after 3 years and its been banged around and dropped more than once from more than 20 to 30 ft off the ground and still rocking

Trouble

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this almost a year ago, and have loved it ever since. Easy to read, always rolls back in easy, and has great cheats on the backside for bending conduit!

Great product

I bought this tape 6 months ago and broke right at 2 1/2 inch mark. Not happy with the strength of the actual tape itself. Love Klein but a bad experience with the tape measure. I guess back to the milwaukee
