Good value for the money. I bought this for a bathroom remodel and needed to trace some wires that I knew had some odd routings. It took some time and a bit of a learning curve since I am a novice, but I was able to effectively trave and reroute wires to complete the project. Plan B would have been to call an electrician, so financially I came out ahead, and now I have a handy tool for my next project.

Relatively easy to use, effective, and good value

I used this tool to find a particular wire in a bundle of wires in an attic.  It does this kind of thing quite well.  I expect it would also be handy identifying which breaker controls an outlet but I did not test that myself.  Be sure to watch videos online to understand how to get good results.  Also don't expect too much.  It has very limited ability to locate wires inside walls, for instance.
