We just finished a 3-week camping road trip as a family. As we were car camping, this seemed to be a good option to try. Let me tell you (as someone who has spent almost 40 years using a stuff sack filled with clothes as a pillow) I have never slept better in a tent. This is an INCREDIBLE product. …it may not make it into my backpacking kit because of its bulk, but it will go with me everywhere else!

I like to use this pillow as lumbar support or for my head if I get a row on a flight to lay down. It doesn't pack up too small, but is so comfortable it's worth bringing it on every flight. It matches my Klymit Versa Blanket too which people think is a parachute!

Perfect pillow for frequent air travel.

The functionality and comfort in this camping pillow is amazing. A very well-designed product that is both quiet and durable isn't easy to come by. Cram it in a stuff sack to make it more compact since the single cinch strap can only do so much to squeeze the air out.

By far the best I've tried

This pillow was exactly what I was looking for for long car rides & nights spent at friend's homes. The pillow has plenty of fill & the jersey knit side of the cover is soft & comfortable. My only critique is there were no cleaning instructions. For the more dedicated hiker & camper this may take up a little too much pack space for your liking.

This pillow was exactly what

This pillow is great! For someone who isn't into inflatable pillows, and not super into the torn foam ones, this pillow is great! Packs down small enough, is about as heavy as you would expect something so comfortable to be, while still being small enough to fit in most packs. My partner loves stealing this pillow from me when she can. It is a great pillow for base camp/trail crew where you went moving camp everyday.

A real pillow, comfortable and soft

We love our large drift camp pillows. It is designed to be extremely functional. The memory foam is fully adjustable via a zipper in the casing. I love the pillow with all the stuffing! My husband thought it was too 'fluffy' so he was able to remove some of the memory foam and make it exactly the way he likes it. We take it with us every where we go. If we're traveling long distances in the car it makes for an extremely comfortable nap for the passengers. It is so so so much better than a neck pillow. We went to a rainy soccer game and we forgot our stadium chairs but because we travel with our pillow, we simply switched from the cloth covering to the water resistant cover and used it to sit on the wet benches. We were so comfortable and it kept us and the pillow completely dry (for the long drive home). When picnicking, if we need more seating, we switch the pillow to the water resistant cover and we sit on it on the ground and it keeps us comfortable and dry regardless of the ground conditions. Oh yea, we also use it in our teardrop trailer to get some very restful sleep. This pillow is so versatile and well designed!

Great for more than just camping

This pillow is amazing. It is not to big and not to small, its "just right!" :)
It is a great design that has a nylon exterior when packed and a cloth exterior when used as a pillow. Packs up fairly small and is worth every ounce for the good night sleep it helps promote. Thank you very much Klymit.

This pillow is amazing. It

This is a great pillow, it felt so luxurious to go backpacking and not sleep on my dirty clothes shoved into a pillow case! Compared to that, it was amazing. But it is moderately heavy and big, especially if you're an ultralight backpacking (which I am not). As someone not terribly concerned with size & space, I will take the comfort if it means a little extra weight but I understand this is not the case for everyone!

Love it, but not small

I love these pillows. I have one of each size. The reversible/washable cover (slick side for transport and outdoors and the soft side for the tent) is ingenious. You can even "soften" up the pillow by removing some of the filling if you desire. I have tried a dozen camp pillows over the years and this is the most comfortable by far.

Excellent in Every Way

Fairly comfortable large camping pillow but definitely not something you'd want to try taking with you on a backpacking trip due to size & compressibility. Nor is this a pillow you'd want to use during warmer outings as the plush side is way too warm (imagine sleeping on flannel). I flipped the pillow inside-out to try to use the nylon side, but unfortunately awoke to the white glue strip design peeling from the nylon & sticking to my face. Let the kiddos try it a few nights & they loved it. 

Bottom line, this pillow works great if you're going on a family camping trip during cooler months & you don't want to ruin one of your inside pillows.

Decent Camping Pillow

I will never know if this is a great pillow or not, I am scared off by the weight and size of this pillow. If you are pulling up in your car, throwing your tent out on the ground and making camp on the spot, I guess this pillow would be worth it. I am sending the two I purchased back...my own fault.
