[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I added the optional rear speakers to my Flexus core 200  setup, and let me just say this: once you hear true surround sound, there's no going back.

At first, I thought the soundbar alone was “good enough”—clear dialogue, solid bass, decent volume. But as soon as I plugged in the rear speakers and fired up a movie, everything changed. The audio wrapped around me. Footsteps behind me, raindrops overhead, explosions that felt like they were in the room. It wasn't just louder—it was immersive.

It's not even about volume. It's about dimension. These rear speakers bring the space to life. Whether it's action scenes, ambient background music, or even subtle environmental sounds in shows, you feel like you're in the middle of it.

Now when I turn them off, everything sounds flat and lifeless. Watching without them feels like eating food with no seasoning—it technically works, but you're missing everything that makes it amazing.

If you're on the fence, don't be. Rear speakers turn a soundbar from a decent upgrade into a full cinematic experience. You'll never want to go back.

Although I can hear them when I'm close, I have not played enough content to decide if they make a difference in my movie watching experience. As far as functionality, so far so good. Everything works as it should and connected promptly. I'm withholding a star until I've experienced more content with surround

New purchase

Sadly, the first set I ordered had a weak amplifier system. It's just been a couple of days with the new set and they are clear and dynamic with movies. I'm not able to get much of an addition to the sound when it comes to listening to music yet. Maybe there's a break-in. I am hopeful it's going to be a good addition to a fantastic flex 200 sound bar and a RSL woofer that I'm using with it.

I found, without getting information to the contrary , that these speakers  cannot be used by any device other than a Klipsh 100 soundbar. There is only a wireless dongle that plugs into the soundbar and no way to connect speaker wires. This was not made clear by the Klipsh literature.
