[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This subwoofer had strong reviews on audiophile sites and was available at a nice discount during Black Friday/Cyber Monday so I decided to take the plunge after confirming I had enough room to house this beast.

The narrower side of the shipping box is 30" wide so you'll need to confirm you have enough width to move it to your chosen location. The unpacking experience is tricky, the sub is upside down within the shipping box and you need to flip the box to get the sub right side up on its foam supports. The box slides fairly easily on both carpet and hard surfaces so I recommend leaving it in the box as long as possible. Once it is freestanding it is difficult to move without tools. I used a set of 4 furniture rollers near each corner and was able to push it on carpet by myself with moderate effort. I recommended leaving the subwoofer up on the rollers until you are completely satisfied with its placement in the room.

The reward for all the unpacking/moving labor is amazing bass that turns music into a visceral experience that can't be described in words. I'm very happy with this subwoofer and I sorely miss it when listening to music in other locations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love home theater much more than going to the movies. That said this is a 16 inch sub and replaced and end table for it's side. Hardwire connections were easy and also very impressed with the add on bluetooth conector to the amps, reivers and made the wife happy with less wires.
Context and aesthetics aside, the sound and bass completes the fullness of sound intended by the movie makers and song writers, the sound scales up seamlessly withe system components and can be dialed back when the Grand parents come over to visit(they are at a different stage and taste in life). A small sharpie mark on the dial made it easy to adjust back to how I like the room tuned when they leave.
This sub doesn't dissapoint. 
For my situation the sub is oversized and over powered but insures that I won't damage it when my son or I am having a moment losing ourselves in music or movie watching mayhem. :)
Its big, it's great, and catching it on sale was an added bonus and I will recomend to anyone who loves a good rich sounding music or movie experience.
