I love this tent! Great ventilation, and moisture control. Durable during rain and snow. A little on the heavier side but it packs up nicely! one of my favorite features is the roll matt it comes with to pack itself up. Easy to install in the dark. I definatley recomend this product. You get the quality of a higher end back packing tent at an affordable price. Perfect for any entry level backpacker or backcountry hunter who doesnt want to break the bank.

This item was incredibly easy to set up and is light weight. I especially liked the all mesh under the rain fly. Used it a couple weekends ago during a heatwave and just kept the rainfly off which kept it cool enough at night to sleep (thankfully no rain). Great Storage too!

This tent was great.. I have been sleeping in a large 8man tent and I was a little nervous about the room and if I would sleep comfortably. The cross canyon 3 was very simple to set up. Being in the Utah desert outside of Zions it can get pretty breezy at tight but the tie down stake rain fly really broke the wind. It was very lightweight and fit in my klymit backpack perfectly. I recently bought a bunch of KLYMIT gear and so far I am 100% satisfied but don't forget to pack extra stakes...

Great tent

My wife and I are preparing to section hike the AT with our 2 dogs. We went to a hike in campsite. It took me 5 minutes to completely erect the tent w/ fly by myself. Comparable to other 3 person tents, it's spacious inside. There's large vestibules for gear storage. The upper portion on the tent is a durable mesh, and as we realized in 26-30 degree weather, more suited for warmer times of the year. The floor is very durable. Our dogs have long nails and they didn't rip any of the floor. The weight is very reasonable and works best if you separate pieces between you and someone else, or different parts of your pack to maintain an even weight distribution. We hiked 15 miles and didn't notice the weight difference when we had the tent in our packs. A solid choice for beginning backpackers!

Great backpacking tent!

I bought the 4-person version of this tent to replace our 11-year-old Asolo tent. My wife and I go through one about every 10-12 years, and this one looked like a feature-packed choice that should easily last that long. So far, so good! We love the large internal space and quick, simple setup, and the tall doors make it easy for me to get my 6'2" old body out without any undue histrionics. The unique packing method is a bit fiddly at first, but gets easier each time it's done. My only complaint with that it gets pretty dirty if done on anything other than a paved surface. Not a big deal, really, but something to consider. Kudos to whoever came up with this. It shows some nice thinking. 
My only nit with the tent, and the reason for only giving it 4 stars, is that the gear lofts do not stay in place no matter how you try to make them do so. The ceiling loft popped loose with a gust of wind and dropped all it's contents on us in the middle of the night. I plan to cure it with some strategically placed dental floss, but I'm hoping that the great folks at Klymit find a way to address it in future production runs. 
I highly recommend this tent!

Great Tent For Car Camping!

This tent is great for a 3 person! It has a ton of space, the only downsides I would say is that the stuff sack/packing bag for the tent is a little odd and hard to get the tent into, I would have loved a regular type stuff sack that most tents have instead of this roll-up cover. It is also a little heavy, but that is to be expected as this is built more towards casual camping instead of backpacking. Overall a great purchase and I would recommend!

Great Tent!

Overall it is an outstanding tent. performance it is lightweight and easy to setup. Plenty of room for average person to stand up inside. Great vestibules front and back for outside storage. 

Only negative is the outer zipper. It catches on the seam.

Got this tent last year. I personally have no issues with the actual tent but if we compare with what else is out there it may be cheaper for those. The tent itself is easy to set up and relatively comfortable. Space is exactly what you would expect for a 2 person but the vestibules on each side make it easy to put gear outside. I recommend getting the footprint so that you can use just the fly and footprint for an even more lightweight setup. I am not sure how durable this will be over time.

Pretty good but might be able to find similar for cheaper

We recently purchased this for our upcoming backpacking trip. I set up the tent in the living room just to double check we had everything. Setup was a breeze, however, I noticed that the bottom liner inside is very thin. I'm considering bringing a light tarp for underneath because I'm afraid we will end up tearing it at the bottom. 
I'll update once we return from our trip.

Thin material

Just used this tent for the first time and it happened to be raining - the lack of a more well-set up vestibule is a real pain - you can just about store your shoes and a small backpack. The zipper on the cover gets stuck ALL THE TIME so you can't quickly go in and out (which is a total bummer when it rains). Other than that (which i think is pretty major) - it's cool that you can almost be standing up (i'm 5'7") it's about as roomy as a 4-person tent is. Overall - not super impressed unfortunately. For a summer-only tent it might be nice but where we are it rains a lot, would not recommend if you like to get out there no matter the weather.
