We used to bring a "eazy-up" coleman tent and the ventilation in that was so poor I would wake up at night barely able to breathe. We invested in this tent and have not been disappointed. It's easy to set up, incredibly breathable and with the klymit sleep pad and KSW down two person bag has been the perfect set up. Our large dog moon bed from klymit fits perfectly along side us as well.

I'm always skeptical of Klymit, but we've used this Klymit 4-P Copper Canyon tent ~15 nights & have yet to be disappointed. Lots of room & storage (unless you want to use cots). SUPER easy to setup in <5 mins & packs-up quick & easy. I really like how easy it is to just roll-up everything into the strapped stuff sack, although I'm not entirely sold on it's functionality as a mat since the pockets/straps have to lay in the dirt. Wish the vestibules were a little larger, but can't complain too much since they kept shoes/boots relatively dry.

No Issues

This tent was great.. I have been sleeping in a large 8man tent and I was a little nervous about the room and if I would sleep comfortably. The cross canyon 3 was very simple to set up. Being in the Utah desert outside of Zions it can get pretty breezy at tight but the tie down stake rain fly really broke the wind. It was very lightweight and fit in my klymit backpack perfectly. I recently bought a bunch of KLYMIT gear and so far I am 100% satisfied but don't forget to pack extra stakes...

Great tent

Used this tent recently for a multi-day field trial in AZ. Even at 28 degrees with freezing rain, we remained dry and comfortable. Plenty of room for myself, my dog and her crate, and our gear. Set up is easy with this tent particularly with the included ground cloth. As mentioned previously, there are a lot of stakes needed to set this tent up properly; however, in high winds it pays dividends because this baby barely moves. I would definitely buy again and highly recommend it to others.

Great tent, great value

The cross canyon 3 is a pretty compact for a 3 person tent and and it is a true 3 person tent. There is plenty of room, in fact I went on a backpacking trip with myself (6'3” and 220lbs, and two other men who are both over 510 and 180 lbs and there was plenty of room for us and some gear! As a taller person I enjoyed being able to sit up in the tent even near the side walls. The double doors and vestibules make it easier to get in and out without climbing over anyone. The storage is superb and exceeds most tents I've seen in the past as well.

Great headspace, easy setup, amazing features

Out of the box I lugged this thing up a mountain for a night in the wilderness without attempting to set it up beforehand, by the time I got to the campsite it was pitch black and 20mph winds. I figured it was gonna be a chore to get the tent set up but I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was even with the wind! I got this tent up in about 15 minutes and I'm pretty sure if there was no wind it would've taken 5. The pole system is great and basically puts itself together, also the dual entry is a good feature! Overall I'm impressed with the quality and ease of assembly.

Not too shabby

I bought a different tent and felt cramped inside of it. I am 6'2" and it was tough to sit up in the other tent. I ended up grabbing this Cross Canyon 2-Person because of the additional height. It feels roomy inside and I can easily kneel straight up. I would say that it's great for one person and a bunch of gear. With two people you would have to be very organized and keep somethings outside/in the car. All in all, I really like this tent and would recommend for sure.

Easy Set Up, Great Size for Tall Dude

Its generally hard to find tents I fit in since I'm so tall, but this one is plenty long and roomy. Set-up is very easy as well. I really only have 2 complaints: First is that its not the easiest tent to get in and out of. Second is that I strongly recommend waterproofing this tent before using it. While it keeps rain out for a bit, it eventually starts getting through and you'll wake in a puddle like I did!

It does its job

My wife and I are preparing to section hike the AT with our 2 dogs. We went to a hike in campsite. It took me 5 minutes to completely erect the tent w/ fly by myself. Comparable to other 3 person tents, it's spacious inside. There's large vestibules for gear storage. The upper portion on the tent is a durable mesh, and as we realized in 26-30 degree weather, more suited for warmer times of the year. The floor is very durable. Our dogs have long nails and they didn't rip any of the floor. The weight is very reasonable and works best if you separate pieces between you and someone else, or different parts of your pack to maintain an even weight distribution. We hiked 15 miles and didn't notice the weight difference when we had the tent in our packs. A solid choice for beginning backpackers!

Great backpacking tent!

Thought it was a great tent. So far only used once, but as a first use review, I will say that it was an easy tent to set up, light and very packable for it's size. Kind of a larger footprint, which was a bit of a downer. You need to make sure you're secure everything well with the stakes, so it requires soft ground. But overall it's really good tent for the value. Would buy again.
