got this to do some car camping in festival land because i hate air mattresses and was sharing my tent. for this purpose, it is a great pad- very comfy, quick & easy to inflate (with a pump), held air well, and spacious enough for two adults. but this thing is in no way shape or form something you would take anywhere involving a long haul of gear, as it is quite bulky.

Most Comfortable Pads You Will Buy!

Ordered a double after comparing to several other well known brands for trips with my spouse and our toddler. I knew we didn't want to sacrifice on comfort just for some ounce pinching, especially being in the backcountry with a tot. Our kiddo was so excited to try it out once it arrived. It's incredibly comfortable, well lofted and takes little time to inflate with the pump sack. I'm overall impressed. As our kiddo gets older we will of course have to get a second one. As of right now this fits our needs perfectly!

Good for family of three!

I purchased this pad for a recent trip to Yellowstone NP. The night time got  below freezing. I did not get cold at all. This thing is comfier then my bed I think! ha. I would definitely recommend getting yourself one. This would be a bit too bulky for backpacking, but car camping or base camp it's perfect.

Great Sleeping Pad

After many years of using ultralight pads, I finally decided to "upgrade" my comfort for car camping or cabin overnights. This does not pack down smal, especially witj the added insulation propertiesl. I would not recommend for backpacking. But, if you have space and don't mind the weight, the combination of air and foam is excellent. I also really like how the foot area lacks the foam and creates a slight drop. The valve is different as it "flips" on an axis to change functions, but check out a video on it and you'll be all set. I also ordered a small pump for this, as there's no way I would want to inflate myself. Overall, great pad that I expect to use for years to come when comfort takes priority over size and weight and I still want a little insulation.

Multi Season Car Camping Pad

We love this! We camp in the Pacific Northwest and it gets cold at night. This sleeping pad is comfortable and keeps you warm! The mix between foam and air is a perfect combination. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the inflation port is kind of annoying. You flip one side to inflate and then flip the other side to deflate. Seems simple… but if you leave the cap off by accident no matter if it's on inflate or deflate, the air will come out. Or if the cap is not 100% on the air will come out. And the cap is hard to push in. It's a great mattress and despite that I will still use it every trip. It's worth it!

Great Sleeping Pad!

So I've had this pad for over a year now, and I think it's time I give it a review. 

The positives: The XL size is the way to go. I'm taller and really appreciate the extra height the pad offers, as well as the extra width (I hate having my elbows falling off the side). With that said, this pad also offers the additional height. That, plus the added foam, made side sleeping an absolute dream on this pad! And it doesn't make that annoying crinkly sound either. The added R value makes for a comfortable sleep in colder weather, as well. I also appreciate how Klymit included the the river sack, which doubles as a way to blow up the pad. Top notch! 

The negatives:  Only one. The valve kinda sucks. Well, I should say that the valve itself works great, allowing air to flow only one direction. The thing is, you have to press a cap with an o-ring over the valve to prevent the air from seeping out overnight. THIS is the part that sucks. It's a royal pain to seal it. I get it on the first try every now and then, but more often than not the seal doesn't meet and air leaks out. Then I have to blow up the pad more and try to press down the cap again. It hurts my fingers, too. With that said, once the cap properly snaps into place, no air is leaking out. But . . . will you get it to snap into place on the first try? The second? The third? For this reason, and this reason alone, I'm giving this pad a 4-star review. Other pads on the market have much better valves. If Klymit were to fix this issue, this would be a 5-star pad, easy!

Sleeping Pad

I bought this about 2 weeks ago for camping in the bed of my truck with my significant other. The pad felt great and kept us pretty warm. However the pad deflated twice throughout the night resulting in us waking up getting out of the way to re inflate. When we finally woke up for the day I felt alright however my significant other's back and arm hurt from sleeping without air in the pad. I will be trying it out to see if it was user error in any way.

Deflated but comfortable when inflated

Pad itself appears well made, but was so narrow I could not give it a honest try out. Laying flat on my back it did feel comfortable but my arms slid off the sides. If inside a tight mummy cocoon sleeping bag it might be better. I'm 6' and 200 lbs for reference, so if you are my size or bigger, avoid. If you are quite a bit smaller, maybe it would work good for you.

Inflating with the additional electric pump was excellent, just a bummer to have to buy that separate.

I bought the Insulated Klymaloft Sleeping Pad - Double 3 months ago.  I finally bought a pump and got it out to use it for the first time... and it doesn't retain air.  I filled it completely.  Snapped the cap closed (it's tough as hell to close but I made sure it's sealed)... and found the sleeping pad about an hour later, empty.  Brand new.  I filled it back up 2 more times to make sure I didn't just leave the cap open.  I can't hear a leak?  Doesn't retain air.  And shopify doesn't provide a clear way to communicate with Klymaloft to resolve the issue.
