I've had this sleeping bag for just about a month and a half and I absolutely love it. It's definitely one of the most comfortable sleeping pads I've ever laid on. I would even go out to say that this is more comfortable than my bed at home lol. Only downside I've noticed is the weight and the amount of time it takes to inflate the pad, but honestly thats expected on a sleeping pad this size. Would recommend for a comfy car camping pad or traveling pad

I'm a side sleeper and love that this think plush foam sits above a cloud of air. I will say that blowing this up yourself is a massive task. Take a pump. I posted the Klymit USB rechargable pump because of the custom tip that couples with most Klymit products. We slept on the mat in our tent and then also inside the house just as a way to get six more nights on it to see how it held up. the temps in Texas have been all over the place and as you could guess that plays with the fill on the pad. I found on cold nights I had to add a little air and when the temps went from 30s to 80s I let out lots of air . normal Double bed sheets fit on this pad without issue. two sleeping bags also fit without issue. two poeple on the pad don't cause disturbence like with other sleeping pads so that was an awesome plus! I 've been called an energetic sleeper.

Our plan is to use this inside of our GFC Superlite RTT when it comes in early spring. And I'll post more when we have that on the roof and ready to roll.

My DBL Sleep Pad

I do a lot of car camping. I got this sleeping pad to see if I could be comfortable on something smaller then the over sized cot and sleeping pad solution I have used for years. In the past I have experimented with solutions and been less then comfortable. I am very happy to say that the Klymaloft is the solution I have been looking for. I sleep on my side a lot and this pad is perfect for that extra pressure on my hips and shoulders. I am so pleased that I slept through each night of camping without waking up from being uncomfortable. This is an awesome sleeping pad for my car camping needs.

Side sleeper heaven

Positives: This mattress is perfect for family camping and travelling. We have used this mattress while car camping, as an extra bed in a hotel, as a bed while our furniture was taken for a move, and for kids' sleepovers. It is extremely comfortable and fits one adult and two kids or two adults. For a family of five, this is one of the best camping gear purchases we have ever made.

Contextual Negatives: You'll want to get an air pump to blow it up. It has a fairly standard valve, so you don't necessarily have to buy the Klymit pump or pump sack. I've blown it up with lungs only, and had to take a few breaks to avoid passing out. Also, the foam/fabric component stains easily--we get around that by wrapping a sheet with the mattress and travelling with it, but be aware.

Positives: This mattress is perfect

Obviously, I would never take this backpacking because it takes up a decent amount of space, but with the mixture of foam and the ability to deflate it and throw it in the car, it's perfect for pulling up to your campsite and knowing that you'll be extra comfortable. Because I primarily use this for car camping I would also consider getting the two-person one even if you don't have a second person to take camping with you, the extra space to stretch out would be worth it!

Best nights sleep when car camping

I'm 6'5" and 250 lbs. I realize the R factor is not the best for this pad but there are minor mitigating steps you can take to make this a solid very early spring to very late fall pad. To take it into Wisconsin winter conditions , I bought a second pad, a 1/2 inch thick foam Sovatta military pad, and the two together allow me to sleep on a tent floor in very cold conditions. For comfort I don't even inflate it half way. It is really the best in comfort. I'm happy with it and I'm not looking to buy any other pad. Cheers

Review of the XL

My hips are sensitive and I haven't had the greatest luck finding the right sleeping pad that will help support my hips and this is just the solution! I'm giving it a 4 instead of 5 cause I wish it was slightly wider as I'm a mover in my sleep and find myself mostly off the mat a lot.

Just what I have been looking for!

I am a side sleeper, and a light sleeper, and I notice *everything* when I try to sleep. I had previously been using an air mattress which was too large and would get too cold with night air and needed a reasonable alternative.

This is a great compromise between a slim sleeping pad while maintaining comfort! I love the extra layer of cushion on the top 2/3.

My only qualms: the valve cap is extremely difficult to close. Even though it's a one-way valve, it's not enough to keep the air from seeping out (as I learned the first night, when I gave up on using the cap because it was difficult to close). However, I figured it out the second night and was fine from there!

Additionally, it does take a little bit of breaths to inflate. I didn't count, but it was definitely more than 20. Deflating is a bit slow.

It packs down pretty small. I use this for car camping adventures - if I were backpacking, I may want something that packed smaller.

After using it, I also wish it was a few inches wider - because I don't care if it adds a little bulk/weight. However, it's just personal preference, I didn't find myself rolling off on the ground or anything - it's a good pad!

Great, comfy pad!

This mattress works really well. I bought it for a backpacking trip with my wife. This is the first air mattress I've used we could both comfortably sleep on! When either of us move there was almost no motion transfer to the other. My wife being 5'10 and me 6' we both fit well enough and did not hang off the bottom. My only concern was the weight for backpacking. It is a bit heavier than I would like, but not unreasonable. This will work great for car based trips also! Inflation and deflation was a breeze with a small battery pump.

Great overall

I purchased this to take traveling when I need extra padding on hotel or cruise ship beds. This is comfortable, but noisy. I can't move without it crinkling.

Comfortable, but..

I wish I could give this item a high score, the other reviews showed promise, but for some reason this never stays inflated. From the very first time I used it, and every time afterwards. The air intake and outtake valve is poorly designed, and doesn't lock like Klymit's other products (I have their static V single person air mat, which has never given me any problems). Quite dissapointed.
