It has easy directions, I have a total of 5 of these. in my 12' x 16', with 10' high walls, shed. They install quickly, after the first one, (with tools in hand.)
With the 45" x 45" X 29" space of each, I have all of my Christmas materials up out of the way, to easily take down at Christmas time

Great overhead storage

I was looking for a way to get some extra storage in my garage so i decided to check this unit out. There were a few others that were a little more expensive and could hold more weight, but for my needs, the 250 lb limit was fine. I installed the unit by myself and it took me about 2 hrs. Not the easiest thing in the world and I could have done it in half the time if i had some help. But in the end it went up fine. There are holes spaced about 2" apart that allow for adjustment on the suspension bars. I wish the holes were a little closer together to get more adjustment, but thats not a big deal. The instructions are simple and easy to follow and the hardware seems to be of good quality. I have one unit loaded up and have no worries about it failing. Overall, I really like the unit and you cant beat the price for it. I will be installing more of these as my junk continues to pile up. Overall, would recommend!

Good Garage Storage Option

I bought this to store my coolers and bulky stuff in the garage. I put 2 of these up and they are perfect. Not too hard to install, the most time is spent on putting the lag screws into the joists on the ceiling. cant complain at all tho about anything with this product

Great product

Wasn't sure if I'd like the ceiling mounted storage storage shelf when I ordered it. Actually I just installed two of them today and am very happy with them. They pretty much emptied all the "stuff" I had stored on the garage floor. Will order a couple more once I start organizing the garage shelves and cabinets.

Easy installation and assembly

Had installed one Hyloft storage shelf a year ago and it is so handy that I just added four more. They are easy to install and well engineered. No parts were missing or damaged. Highly recommend.

Perfect storage solution

I just wanted to get my roof top carrier off the garage floor when I wasn't using it, and I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg. This was easy to install ( recommend you do it with a partner, otherwise you will go crazy going up and down the ladder). All the parts were neatly packed and identified. It took about 45 min-1 hr to install. My garage ceiling is not very high and I was still able to install it so it cleared the open garage door. The carrier fits great, along with a few pairs of skis.

Easy to install. Fills the bill.

First off, this isn't the product I intended to buy. I was first looking for an extension ladder and came across a deal: "buy this storage shelf, get a free ladder". Awesome, and I could use the shelf. Assembly was a little bit more difficult at first than I thought it would be as the joists in my garage run in two different directions at the back (living area side of the house) due to a bedroom above the garage. Solved by hanging some 2x4 ledger across where I wanted the shelves. Only wish is that they were a little more steady, as they hang on flat strap hangers and not a tube.

Not quite what I expected...

I was sad that it does not fit two large containers like the pictures show unless you attach it by one instead of two screws as instructed making it less stable. FYI do not attach ceiling part to the edge of the wall because it is made to be wider at the bottom than the top. Otherwise great we not love our organized garage without a clutter free ground

One should be relatively "handy" to install. Not difficult but helpful
to own a set of lug wrenches.

Good product

I bought a total of 4 of these to reclaim garage space from sports and garden equipment. Works great, but will move some. Stability is better if they are paired up with at least one other unit.
