Very comfortable fit in your hand. It is a great help in cutting through those plastic containers items arrive in.

The blade does not lock open so you never need to worry about setting it down with an exposed blade. It's not as sharp as a razor but sharp enough for most uses and is a lot safer to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm disappointed with this tool. I usually love west cott products, but this one didn't hit the mark. The knife blade doesn't stay out when using. You have to hold the button down the whole time. Handle is thin, not my favorite.

Go for stronger

Opens Packages Like A Breeze.

I love getting packages, but hate having to find something to cut thru the tape and don't even get me started on opening up that hard plastic packaging!  This little safety knife cuts cleanly thru tape, cardboard, even that pesky plastic!  I was a bit skeptical at first, but the blade is legit!  The bright color makes it easy to spot even on the bottom of my huge handbag.  And the retractable blade means not accidental cuts - winner!
