When I received the package it seemed simply wrapped, but heavy. I was very happy when I opened it and got to hold and see it for the first time. "Quality" is a great way to describe it. Very Satisfied.  Why cant everything you buy feel as solid and made into a quality product like this drain?

Kohler Duostrainer

The newer design was so much easier to install than the original unit from a few years ago. I am delighted with the constant improvement of your products. Thanks for making the install instructions exceptionally clear, without overdoing. Kudos to the designers, packers and makers.  This unit was a perfect piece of work for me to install. I love it!

I ordered exactly what I needed.  Looks great in my kobalt color cook/sink!

Drain

I really like the look of this Kohler Sink Drain and Strainer.  It matches our new Kohler faucet perfectly.  The installation was much better than I remembered.  However, it does not perform well at its main function... keeping water in the sink.  I would say that 1 out of every 2 times that I think the drain is sealed so I can wash the dishes... it is not sealed.  So then gradually the water drains out.  It is annoying.

Appearance is excellent... installation was easy... function is fair

Heavy duty and good function.  However, I called to specifically inquire about the oil rubbed bronze finish.  This product is not rubbed bronze ( no bronze visible) but black.  They were installed before I saw them so now do not match my faucet.  If you are looking for rubbed bronze this is not your product.

Nice quality

Excellent quality,  just a little frustrating to use.  Won't seal unless one is very careful about how the drain is closed.    I replaced identical drains with these new ones.  The old ones lasted 15 years before the nickel plating wore off the brass.  The old ones were as challenging to use.

Very High Quality, but challengine to use

I always buy Kohler products because I believe that they are the best however after receiving the product I was surprised that the strainer was defective.. how did this pass inspection or quality control

Not happy with product. The kitchen sink is used by 2 seniors who until now go out to eat often. I clean it with soft scrub once a day, this should not be happening. I will have my kitchen guy look at it when this virus is over. Please inform me about what your going to do. I don't know how to photos.

Black sink drain finish has for the 2 time in 5 years has come off.
