I have replaced my water filters at least 5 times & always was very satisfied.  However this time I have some concerns.  The water coming out of the faucet with the Aquifer replacement filter tastes good at first but if I leave the glass filled with water at my nightstand during the night, the water then develops an "off" taste.  This has never happened before with other cartridge replacements.

I'm a little disappointed

The insertion / retention tabs on top of original cartridge are trapezoidal to allow cartridge to be inserted easily.  New tabs are rectangular preventing insertion.  This has been going on for over a year, maybe longer.  Why can't you fix this problem?

Design Flaw

The insertions tabs do not fit into the base. Shape has changed. What do we do?

Replacement filter

I had to go through the replacement procedure several times before I got a good seal with no leaks. I reinstalled the old one multiple times with a good seal and no leaks. For such an expensive filter, Kohler should be able to do better. I never had a problem with the older 501/502 filters, until you replaced the model. I have little confidence this new one won't develop a leak.

DOESN'T WORK

We purchased the K20852 filter as a replacement to the K-201 which has since been discontinued. This replacement is a very POOR design compared to the original. We have been having persistent leaking every time we use it. Now we are up for replacement and we are on the fence on what to do. We might just completely replacement our water filtration system.

Leaky replacement filter

Same complaint as other reviews.  Tabs on filter have changed, can not be inserted.
