Why is there a dark ring around the lower part of the tub?

This overflow drain looks awesome with my new archer bathtub.  Super sleek and I love the updated design.  Also, allows for a super deep soak vs tubs of old where baths would be spent listening to the water trickle down the drain

Sleek and awesome

We selected the drain kit to accompany the tub purchase. The installers had no issues with the use of this item. My only issue is with the finish of the overflow drain cover being chrome instead of nickel. Not a big issue just a minor annoyance.

Drain kit for Soaker Tub

The reason I purchased this is because I bought the Kohler Archer whirlpool tub, and the drain needed to be installed with it. It works perfectly and matches the other Kohler shower accessories I bought.

Great engineering

Looks gorgeous, the large oval overflow just give the bathtub a very carry and spectacular look.. Its the main reason I chose the bath tub that I did

Easy enough to install the Underscore tub.  Like how it distinguishes the tub from being just run of the mill builder grade stuff

Sleek style

I love Kohler products bought a new tub and two new toilets. The accessory they told me to get with the tub was a drain
It was plastic so when It came my contractor could not use It
I called Kohler and they were great and refunded me but It just declaimed my work

Quality high addition poor

The slotted overflow bath drain was vey expensive compared to generic version that were available. On  positive note it was customized to my new Kohler tub which really made installation achievable  by my contractor. It was tight fit into my existing plumbing  but in the end it worked The generic version would have had to be modified to work with my new tub.

Expensive but necessary

Don't know because no was completely destroyed so I returned in fear of lost parts
