I am IN LOVE with this unique fireplace. You hv the option to mount on wall or freestanding, (you see I chose mounted). Would hv liked my handyman to go a lil lower on mounting surface space but I didn't catch him in time. Its still a beautiful object! The different flame setting colors are fantastic!!! I got it more for aesthetics/ambience look, than heater quality; however heater does kick out some heat *not for a huge space tho* maybe a small office like mine or small bedroom. Price was perfect and I would definitely recommend. Hubby now wants one for his mancave-go figure :)

Fireplace

Just what I wanted for my small fireplace. It provides the perfect ambience and you can't beat the price. The remote is a nice feature and the several flame and fire bed options provide much versatility.

Highly Recommended

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is very attractive little piece here. I so love the looks ,This is a black finish and in the box you will receive all you need to use .

8: Two stand feet
9: Eight 4.16 mm screws to fix stand feet
10: One bg of crystal stone they are used as decorative acessiories of fireplace. This heater has three way adjustment for the flame. Overheating protection, Cool touch exterior , two heat settings and a adjustable thermostat.Do NOT use this out doors. The instruction says place in anyroom but i would be hesitant myself to have this in a bedroom or a bathroom . This doesnt haet up alot good for a smaller room but more for looks then anything i believe. I love it i love the remote control, and 10 led crystals and log inserts.add a beautiful touch .The seven and a half timer makes it really nice. 1500 wattage 120 volts. This arrived just in time for our Christmas party on Saturday since we have no snow yet in Mi this will be a happily added plus . Rounded screen with vents on the top . Twenty one inches wide at widest part of fireplace and roughly over 16" tall or more . If you want something to heat a huge room this wont do it if you have a small room or want it just for looks this is the fireplace for you. I love mine .And plan on using it just about everyday theis winter.

Freestanding or Wall Mounted Fireplace Heater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wanting and electric portable fireplace for our summer lake cabin; I have found it! When the medium sized box arrived, all the internal parts arrived in perfect condition; exceptional packing! Once opened and the items laid out, It was easy to see this was going to be an easy and quick setup. I've attached a picture of the items that come in the box. There are two ways to use this fireplace, wall mounted, or surface stand; both have different installation parts and procedures. Use the provided manual, very well done. I'm using the surface stand, as I'm going to set it in my lake house existing wood fireplace box. Make sure the stands are mounted with the short ends facing the backside; helps it from not tipping over – forward. You will need a #1 and #2 cross tip (Philips) screwdrivers to do either installation/setup. Also, a pair of needle nose pilers will help you insert the screws in the base of each leg stand. The fireplace allows you to quickly change out the lower decorative part of the fireplace from a dark stone looking bar, to a bag full of clear crystal stones; follow the directions, very easy. Once I finished, approximately 15 minutes, I had it up and running. Just plug it in (74” cord length/two-prong) to an outlet (120v) and use either the remote control or the control buttons on the left side of the unit. The remote is great, reaching at least 36 plus feet for me, also giving me complete control on the color of the flames and crystal colors, light intensity, and an actual heater! Keep in mind, if you are going to use the heater, it will draw from a low 750 watts to a high of 1500 watts, much like a hair dryer. The heat on high is pretty decent for such a small unit, a nice little booster. The heat comes from the top of the unit and has a hot touch with your hand on the vent, all the way to the backside, but not burning my hand. The Timer mode allows you set a turnoff time, this is a bit tricky, as you have to look at the side of the unit for the lighted buttons (amount of time), or remember the touch sequence; it does work. The unit size, not including any base is 22” W x 16” T. The clear window is 13.5 W x 8” T. The height with the leg stands installed is 18” T. It also comes with some cord cover tubing, so the electrical cord is a bit more dressed up for wall mounting. I would have preferred a dull matt finish instead of the shiny black finish (less reflection). Please read and follow all the safety instructions to keep you safe. This is made in China and comes with a manufacturer one-year warranty. This is a great electric fireplace accent piece, I'm 5-star happy with all of it!

Great Electric Fireplace - Heater, Many Options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heater is gorgeous and works great! Sleek slim black design. Tempered glass and cool touch exterior for safety. I love the interchangeable crystal and log inserts with 10 flame and 10 bed colors, all in dazzling LEDs. Beautiful flame effect works with and without heat. The colors and flame brightness are adjustable, as is the thermostat. 2 heat settings. 7.5 hour timer. Remote control. It is freestanding or wall mountable with paintable cord cover. LOVE!

Fabulous Fireplace Heater!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so very happy that I got this Mainstays Freestanding/Wall Mounted Electric Fireplace Heater! It is absolutely gorgeous! It is a little smaller than I thought it would be, but it's still beautiful none the less.

There is the option to use the classic log look or you can spread crystals along the bottom instead. There are so many color options. The flames can be one color and the logs or crystals can be another color. The brightness can be changed as well.

The heater is in the top of the fireplace (you can use the fireplace even without the heat on) which is good because it keeps the front nice and cool just in case one of my kids accidentally touches in. There are buttons on the side of the fireplace as well as a remote control to operate the different functions. Unfortunately on my remote, the button that controls the brightness doesn't work.

What's great about this fireplace is that you can either set it on a table or dresser or another piece of furniture or you can hang it on the wall. If you choose to hang it on the wall it also comes with tubing that covers the cord to the plug which you can paint to match your wall. Then you have no visible cords or and the fireplace looks like it was meant to be there.

Beautiful look, great heat

I purchased two of the fireplaces and one is perfect but the other one makes a funny noise and I don't know if my son can sleep with it. They look beautiful but I'm worried about the noise.

I have to rate it 3 out 5,beautiful but noisy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very small fireplace. I don't like how the heat comes out of the top. Really doesn't do much if this is in a fairly good size living room. I would rather have the heat come out the front. I had so much trouble trying to put the feet on it. Not easy to do. It comes with the parts to install this on the wall. I didn't have a spare wall to put it up so it's freestanding on a dresser. It looks very small on it. I do like the colors of the flames and the flame bed. I also like how you can choose whether you want the wood or crystals on the flame bed. Also the remote is pretty useless. I had to stand right in front of it to get it to work. You also cannot adjust the heat with the remote. Setting the timer with the remote is useless too. It needs a digital display.

Small fireplace, for small places.
