The koolatron I purchased is wonderful . Price is great and it works !!  I originally brought the $64.00 /6 wine cooler .  I returned  item .   Never got cool.  Didn't work . Spent little more for this Koolatron and all is well . I recommend !!

I love the Koolatron wine cooler although I have never chilled a bottle of wine in it. I have two and I use both to chill fruit, fresh basil, store chips and crackers, and anything else you don't want to keep in your pantry or big fridge. It works great. And someday I will chill a bottle of wine or two.

More Than Chilling Wine

I'm replacing my old one with this 6 bottle wine cooler, my old one thermostat gave up. I didn't have much choices for a 6 bottle Wine Cooler, this is pretty much what's available out there. Is exactly like my old one, love the look on my counter top. Hopefully will last like my old one about 6 years.

Good looking Wine Cooler

So far, so good. Not quite as well made as those of several years ago, but its doing its job very nicely.

Fine way to store wines

I bought this cooler based on favorable reviews of the Koolatron product line.  Seems to work fine, keeps wine at a constant temperature.  My only complaint is that the bottom two bottles don't nestle as cleanly as the two upper rows, which are on metal racks.

Good affordable wine cooler

Makes the job as advertised. But some bottles are a little larger than standard, you can have trouble storing these, they won't fit on the middle tray but will fit on the top one or the bottom one (yet on the bottom one if you don't put it in the "horizontal" center, it will conflict a little with the downward curve of the middle tray.

As someone said, the bottom tray does not stop the bottles from rolling one side to the other, they do not have round holders.

Makes the job

Very disappointed. I went by the dimensions that it indicated on the website which says the height is 14.25inches but that is not the case. From top to bottom it is about 17inches. This was critical for me as I needed it to be under 15inches for it to fit in the area I was going to put it in.

Does not remain at a constant temp but fluctuates up and down randomly by as much as 7 degrees (more when we put a thermometer inside)! it looks pretty though.

Fluctuating Temp

I was a bit unhappy when I received the wine cooler, price I paid was $95.00 however when I received the wine cooler, a clearance sticker was on the box    for $75.00.  Feel a bit taken for the additional $20.00.  My daughter actually had purchased one of them on clearance in the store for 75.00. Not right to do this to customers.

Instructions say it must be kept below 77F to operate, which is pretty chilly. I don't usually run the AC that high in the summer. But it's been mostly cool out and the house is open... even when it's around 70 degrees, the internal temperature is about 10 degrees warmer than the display says, and it only goes down to 52, so this thing is only dropping the internal temperature about 10 degrees. Left an expensive sports watch in over night that I know to be accurate and got a graph of the temperature up until when I opened it in the morning and took it out. This doesn't really even "chill" things... beverages left in over night come out basically room temperature. It's nice enough... it just doesn't really do anything. I was trying to do something a little larger than the solid-state Peltier effect 12 pack micro-fridge so this was meant to be an upgrade beverage cooler from that.  Just out of curiosity what the Frididaire 12 pack micro-fridge was doing by comparison, I left the smart watch in that over night, and it was running much cooler than this, at about 37 degrees.  I'm surprised this compressor based cooler works so poorly and the much less expensive cooler works so well.  I guess I'll just go back to that and stick with that.
