My original lift supports lasted about 6 years, then I bought a replacement set from a well known auto supply store, which lasted only a year or so. After that I was using a wooden pole to prop up my hatch. Then recently I bought these Krator lift supports and installed them. I think they're better quality and stronger than the 2nd set I installed last time, but on longevity, I can't comment yet, because it's just a new install. Time will tell. Price was inexpensive and lower, too! The lift on the left side is binding a bit when I close the hatch, but the right side one is just perfect. It's ok, I guess. It it lasts a few years, I would consider it a good buy.
