I purchased the Kraus KPF-1610SFSCH Bolden 18in for my mother's home in Sept 2021 just last month the rocker switch on the faucet spray head broke off. The delta faucet she had before then had been installed over 15 years ago with no issues this barely made it 17 months. She loves the design but is very disappointed in the quality.

Not as durable as expected

We’ve had this faucet for almost 5 years and have had to replace the head twice because the switch keeps breaking. I’d be much happier paying a bit more money for a switch that is stainless instead of plastic.

Love the look do not love the plastic switch.

I like the features and water pressure, especially the commercial like spray to rinse dishes.  The problem I have is the durability.  It’s cheaply made and the plastic switch breaks off after about a year.  This is the 3rd head I’ve had to buy within the last 3 years.  Will be switching brands next time this one fails.

As many of the other reviews, the spray switch broke off after a little over a year.  This should be the most durable part of the faucet since it is used so often however it is a completely plastic part held together by two small plastic pins.  Both pins broke off of the switch.

Plastic internal parts not durable

Looks pretty good, the entire faucet I mean, a black fabric hose arching through the middle of in an elegant black spring of sorts.  The sprayer toggle is kinda wobbly though, cheap-feeling action, until you turn on the water, then it firms up.  Inside that sprayer toggle is a part that shatters very easily, rending the sprayer inoperable, and which allows the entire toggle piece to fall out, making our bad decision of purchasing this faucet doubly obvious.  We unfortunately bought this faucet for two sinks, so we know that this piece is fragile.  It appears as though the only way to replace that part is to buy the whole shower head again, making it several orders of magnitude more expensive to fix than if they offered that part online.  They must know it is an issue, as it happened twice with us.  I know own 4 of these heads.  I don't recommend them.

Cheap Shattering Sprayer Toggle Part

I love the design of this faucet, BUT the replacement heads are a pain. Please start making them more durable! Of particular concern is the button for the spray/stream option. However, I have another problem. I noted that the water pressure seemed a little low. I purchased a $30 replacement head at Amazon looking for a quick, cheap fix. The part sent differs in the configuration of the screen at the bottom. Since the new head didn’t solve the pressure problem, I called the plumber. There was a larger issue that he had to resolve (water to whole home abruptly stopped). He cleaned the inside screen on the head, water was flowing again so he left. I finally called him back as the pressure issue wasn’t resolved. He removed the “new” head, cleaned the interior screen of the “old” head, reinstalled it and my full pressure was once again evident. The cost was $85 dollars for his service call. His take is that my replacement head was a low-flow head, which made sense. It’s too late to return to Amazon. But I’m now concerned that when the spray button breaks as it has in the past, will I be able to get a fully-pressurized product. Hmmm…what do you say, Kraus? The photo shows the faulty product received from Amazon. Clearly unlike the photos of the product as shown on the website.

The spray/stream button broke off after only a year of use in our home. Looks like a poor design after inspection, weak failure point. Not impressed with the quality here compared to the rest of the assembly.

Faucet broke after just over a year.

I was satisfied with the kitchen faucet for the first year of use. However, the button came off, and I had to superglue it back in place. More concerning, the finish has started chipping. This became a serious safety issue when it cut my mom's finger. The exposed metal edges are sharp—please be cautious, as the chipping can pose a risk of injury.

Lasts about a year if you're lucky. I have had to replace mine 3 times in 3 years. It's not heavily used as there are only 2 people in the home. Very poor quality.
