Ease Of Installation

Functionality

This faucet is an absolute beast! Big and beefy, very solid construction. We purchased the chrome finish and it's beautiful. I've been very happy with it so far. Some say the sprayer is weak but I've found it adequate to remove residual food from dishes. As far as industrial facets, I don't know that you could get better.

Beautiful faucet

kraususa.com

Sleek faucet--good to look at, easy to install, works like a charm

Elegant kitchen pullout faucet

When used with a Kraus 30" Under mount sink, the hose cannot be stretched down far enough to sufficiently rinse out debris in the sink. The closest i can get is 20" from the floor of the sink!

Pull Down Hose Too Short on KPF-1603SFSMB

I used to have this faucet in my previous house. I loved it, so in my new house I waited for the right price and bought it again. However, it is not exactly as it was.

PROS:
- I love the magnet to store the sprayer after use.
- Much better than the previous system with rubber, which dried after a few years.
- It is still a stunner in any kitchen.
- It is made of solid materials.
-The pressure is excellent.
- The transparent rubber of the sprayer hose has been replaced by a much better looking gray metallic one. It will not end up yellowing as in the previous version.

CONS (compared with the previous version):
- The on/off water feature on the pot filler is gone. Before, there were three on/off features: on on the whole faucet, one on the sprayer, and one on the pot filler. This is especially annoying concerning the sprayer. Now, if you want to spray, you must first turn the faucet on, which starts the pot filler. Once you let go the sprayer, the pot filler goes back on.
- Before, you have both the pot filler and the pot filler going on at the same time. I don't count the number of times I washed vegetables while filling a large pot...

All in all, I like it, but I miss my old one. I wish the improvements had not been made to the detriment of some great features.

Stunning, sturdy product

I bought this Commercial style faucet because 4 years ago we bought a house that had this faucet but was the model before this new one and I loved it!!! So I bought this one thinking that it has to be just as good or even better since they don't carry the model before this one anymore. So the one thing they changed is the ability to pull down on the spray hose. You can't even get the spray to the corners of the sink. It is so disappointing because that was the best part of this faucet that you could rinse your whole sink clean. So I did call customer service to tell them this. If I could buy the old model I would do it because this one would be great if it had a longer spray hose. Love the quality of this brand. So that is why I can't give it a 5 star and I would tell other to wait to buy this until they fix this problem.

commercial faucet

This faucet is not only great looking but easy to install. The multi function is very convenient. The only think I would have liked is better supply hoses and rubber washers. We had to use tape on the connectors to stop dripping because of the flimsy washers

great looking faucet

Mike

Experiencing a little bit of buyer's remorse over not doing better research of functionality for this product. Enamored with the aesthetics of the product and having read a review (perhaps they brought a similar, but different product) I thought the sprayer would have the function to remain on, if wished. As an avid cook and the person doing the most dishes, I had not realized how much I used this function in my previous (non-Kraus) product. My significant other did not want this product, due to the lack of pull down sprayer and we argued that the power of the water would be able to reach the corners, and it does. Having to hold the sprayer on during dishes is a wasted task, and frankly I am so surprised that in a product of this quality, it was not thought out as necessary. I still love the way it looks with my, also new, Kraus white farmers sink, but kicking myself with every load of dishes.

Limited functionality related to sprayer function, unable to leave on without holding lever. Otherwise, a beautiful looking product.

I replaced my faulty Kraus faucet with this model. The hose is too short. I can't even pull it far enough to properly clean my sink. I want to love it but I don't. She might be pretty but beyond that, I dislike her very much. I would take my old faucet in a heartbeat if she was still available.

The hose is too short

I purchased the Artec Pro for a kitchen remodel. After it was installed the first thing that I noticed when using it was the lack of movement from the spray hose. The hose basically is stationary. You can't pull out any hose and the spring is so rigid it will barely move. In the description from Kraus it reads that the sprayer has a reach of 7 1/8 inches. That is not an accurate statement. I paid a lot of money for this faucet and it does not do what I need it to do.

Misleading Description

Kraus, in other similar sinks, clearly has the ability to have true counterweighted pull down handles. Why they did not include it on the Artec Pro, is beyond me. as it is it can only pull down like 3 inches and is still like 8 inches above the lip of the sink, so water gets everywhere. The pre-rinse handle is almost worthless because you can't actually pull it into the basin. Huge disappointment! Fit, finish, and quality of all of our Kraus products is generally superb, which makes this all the more of a bummer.

Doesn't pull down for jack
