I absolutely love this little contraption I didn't know how well I would like it when I purchased it but let me tell you it makes cutting a lot easier for me us especially free-handing I can't do it so this little item was a game changer for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tool and am so excited for the endless potential this tool brings to our tool collection. I do a lot of “Do it Yourself” projects and are always asking my husband to cut different boards for me. And this is ALWAYS after we have left the home improvement stores where they will do it for you when you buy it. We only have a circular saw so unless you have a full work shop with clamps and all types of tools, cutting a straight line is near impossible. This tool will save us so so much trouble. Instead of taking it so slow and trying to get a kind of perfect cut we now have a amazing tool that ensures we get perfect cuts every time. My husband may get annoyed now that I can ask him for cuts anytime and all the time now that we do not have to make an elaborate plan to get a near straight cut. If you are in the market I would definitely recommend this brand because it is a well known company who makes great tools anyway so you really can not go wrong by choosing this particular tool.

Works well. Main complain - very cheap plastic parts, came with a difect on the aluminum ruller. I had to send it. Bad instractions.

this jig was pretty easy to set up and use. I just wish it wasn't made of so much plastic. works great right out of the box but we'll see how long it lasts. I've only made a couple cuts so far just to calibrate it.

Good concept, but implementation not so great.  The cheesy plastic of the "sled" is especially uninspiring, and my Dewalt saw felt like it was barely staying in place on the sled.

I also have Kreg's 720Pro pocket-hole jog, which I think is very well-designed.  Kreg needs to bring that level of design to the Rip-Cut Guide, which might require charging more for it, but I'd rather pay more.  Specifically, re-think the sled, both its materials of construction and how it holds the saw plate in place.

Flimsy on the guuide, it's plastic so it's flimsy and your cut doesnt end up being straight im very disappointed

Very disappointed

Not a great experience so far. Got a tracking number right away that said they started to pack my purchase 10hrs before I purchased it. Got a delivery notification that it's arrived with a picture of a house that isn't mine the next day when the ETA was 3 weeks out. I gave the facts to the seller and they said since it's delivered they will look into it. No other responses after 2 attempts. Will likely have my credit card refuse payment as they charged my card asap. I let them know it's likely a mishap on the tracking info sent out but they haven't been responsive. Not happy

Bad logistics & no help to get to the bottom of it

Totally wasted my $$ on this. The description seems to imply it is universal. However, my Grizzly plunge saw does NOT fit on it. The Grizzly has a cord holder on the front of the base plate preventing it from snugging up against the sled. The lip of the Grizzly base plate is too high for the clamp and set screws of the guide to get a good grip on the base plate which allows the saw to swivel on the sled. Additionally, the Grizzly does not have a plate edge on the right side of the blade so there is nothing for the indexing block on the sled to snug against which prevents repeatable installations.
