I absolutely love this. It makes your hair soft and manageable and it leaves you shiny wherever you want. Your hair is where it pretty much will stay and it will not be stiff. The bottle is huge definitely worth the money. It brings out the waves in my hair and the curls stand out a lot better and it holds my hair in place so the holding power is definitely in this but with a soft touch and it helps your curls to stand out.!

I first tried LA looks sport hold when I was just a kid and my mom put it in my hair to help tame my thick curls and limit frizz. And after years of trying out new hair care products, I've realized that this is the only product that really holds my hair all day without spending a lot of money at a hair salon on something more high end. I now even put this in my oldest son's curls and it works great for his hair too. We never have to worry about frizz or untamed curls again!

There's very little flaking and residue with this product. It's definitely worth the money. With a lot of other gels, I've tried. This was the best one it truly held my hair in place for hours. Including the little wispys and fly away hairs, you will not be disappointed with this product.

I can't believe how cheap this is but yet works as well as it does. I have blonde hair and have no issue with the color. it holds well. I bought it when I was a student and living on a tight budget. I now have a great salary and still prefer this to some more expensive products I have tried since. I'm done trying other products as long as Walmart continues to carry this.

My son loves this gel. I know it is marketed toward the active man, but I have been using this product for years. As a woman with curly hair this product helps to preserve, separate and hold my curls, keeping the frizz in check while allowing me to style easily with volume using just a hair dryer. In my opinion one of my favorite styling products.

Great for curly hair

I keep returning to this brand. I have curly hair and this gel it keeps it tame. I also found out 1 more use for the gel; removing a ring from your finger!!!

I've been using this my entire life. Have tried every gel and other hair product under the sun and even high dollar ones and this one is it for me. Scrunch out the cast and it's perfection for curly hair.

Best gel ever for curly hair

This hair gel holds my hair all day then most others.  I will say I do apply on  my wet hair and it will be stiff but it doesn't bother me, it may to others. And love this product and the outcome for me.

Holds all my hair in place no matter what

This did not seem like the normal LA gel. It didn't hold my hair in place or even the blow dry style. I'm having to mix it with other hair gel just to try and use it up. I was not impressed. My hair is medium thickness and straight, it doesn't usually need something super strong.

Not what I remember

This was my favorite for 4 years. I get compliments on my tight curls because even on humid days, this gel held those curls to form. I've recommended it to so many people, too, even strangers at hot and humid football tailgates. Really!

Then today, my new bottle is cloudy, luckily I had one more of the old so you can see the difference. The new bottle, on the left, didn't hold and made my hair dry and fly away like straw. I'm so sad, the company says they change the formula but can't sell me old ones. SO, save your money, if you can't see through it, this isn't your old favorite gel!
