I got a scent card of this fragrance in the L'occitane store. After experiencing all the notes, I realized that I needed this perfume in my life. It's the perfect rose scent for me. It's floral yet fresh and its longevity is amazing. I had a birthday coming up and decided to treat myself. It came in three days exactly on my birthday. It's powerful and my sinuses can't handle more than two gentle sprays. I will have this for a long time. Anyhow, I recommend this scent if you're a lover of the timeless rose. Also, it's more of a spring/summer scent, but I'm wearing this one all year round.

For many years I was in search of a perfect rose fragrance. Then finally about 7 years ago I discovered Rose 4 Reins and it was love at first smell. It's perfectly balanced, its ageless, timeless, and season-less, although I do prefer it end of summer through mid-winter. It a perfect rose smell, but there are other notes that give it this transitional effect, easing from those last breezy summer days to that more comfortable fall weather.

I am picky with rose scents but when I smelled this one I was hooked, such a mild and very pleasant rose smell, it smells gentle and feminine, the best thing of all I s it last all day long. The smell is so gentle I use it before going to sleep. I love it so much.

Beautiful smell

I bought my first bottle in the airport on my way to Chicago about 2 years ago and really wear nothing else.  I am constantly approached by both friends and strangers asking me what I am wearing.  Contrary to some of the reviews - it is light, clean and fresh.

I can't understand the poor reviews on this product. It is my favorite made by L'Occitane, but I am also an unabashed floral fragrance lover. It is pure and bright and the best rose fragrance I have come across. That being said, it may be worth mentioning I do not care for either of the Terre de Lumiere fragrances. - I found them cloying and old lady-ish. So maybe if you share the same preferences, give this one a try.

A true rose fragrance with great staying power.

I changed from Crabtree &Evelyn when they changed their rose. My daughter suggested L'Occitane and since 2014 I used everything in Roses et Reines.  I also discovered Shea Butter line and I use most of the products and will continue to do so. I tried the new rose and did not care for it.  My husband hates it..patchouli as a base note turns him off.

So sad to lose an old favorite

I was expecting/hoping for more of a real true rose fragrance- based on the description and reviews,   but this was not the case.  It didn't smell that way to me or on me. It doesn't smell bad, it just wasn't what I was hoping for. Wish I could have gotten a small sample first before ordering a full size.I'll go back to wearing pure rose essential oil.

I've noticed several changes in their products.  However, this one was the one that made me realize L'Occitane is no longer listening to customers.  No longer a fragrance that L'Occitane has been known for.  Smells like something synthetic and of low quality.   I  am no longer a return customer.

Quality No Longer L'Occitane

I was so disappointed to see Roses ET Reines is gone after wearing this scent daily for at least 9 years, maybe more. 

The old scent was so light and fresh, delicate and feminine. This is very artificial and heavy smelling. It feels like a scent for a grandma, and I loved that the original rose perfume didn't smell "Old". 

This just smells cheap, and the price is really ridiculous for what it is. I'd rather buy an perfume from an actual fragrance specialty brand for this price. 

I'd look forward to buying Roses et Reines if it's ever brought back but I'm a lost customer for now.
