I Finally Found Something That Keeps My Makeup From Running Away

I have a complicated relationship with setting sprays—some make me look dewy like a glazed donut, others feel like hairspray on my face. This one caught my attention because of the 36-hour claim, which seemed ambitious, but I was curious. The bottle is a decent size, and the sprayer actually delivers a fine mist instead of the firehose situation some brands have.

I used it on a day that started at 7 AM and ended with a sweaty outdoor event around 9 PM. My makeup looked remarkably intact—no melting, no creasing, and my nose didn't turn into an oil slick by noon. The spray dries quickly without feeling sticky or tight. It has a light, fresh scent that fades fast, so it didn't interfere with my perfume. A little goes a long way; two or three spritzes covered my whole face.

· What I liked: The mist is super fine and even—no wet spots. It actually kept my makeup in place through humidity and a long day. No sticky residue or weird shine. The bottle lasted me several months of daily use.
· What I'd note for others: Hold it about arm's length away and close your eyes—the mist is fine enough that it's not uncomfortable, but you'll feel it if you're too close. If you're sensitive to fragrance, the scent is noticeable for about 30 seconds then fades. It's not a mattifying spray, so if you're oily, you might still need powder.

It's become my go-to for long days when I need my face to behave. I'm hoping the formula stays consistent and the sprayer doesn't clog over time, because this is the first setting spray that actually seems to work for me.

This setting spray is so good! I have been using it for a while, and it has not let me down. I spray after I apply my makeup, and it stays on all day. Even on hot days, it doesn't budge. When you first spray it on, it feels like you're applying hairspray to your face, but that goes away quickly.  Your face does not feel sticky or dry at all.

This Is a Great makeup setting spray but it's a misnomer to call it an XL bottle when it's really quite small. It's actually a spray can and it goes on in a sheer fine mist. Sets fast and doesn't feel plasticky. Just know that this is a small can.

When i first tried this setting spray, it was the best i had ever tried. Did everything advertised. Waterproof, sweatproof, transferproof, and natural finish. My #1 setting spray as a student athlete who needs my makeup to be LIFE PROOF. But then they changed the formula. It made my face so shiny to where it looked greasy but it was dry. My makeup didnt last and transferred. Loreal claims that it is the same formula with a better scent. But the scent is so bad and the formula is NOT the same. I have seen many reviews begging for the old formula back. I continue to check every store i come across to see if they still have the old formula in the back. If they do i buy it. I bought 4 bottles each from different stores but i am on my last one and no one sells the old formula anymore. Loreal pleeeasssse bring it back!!! Dont fix what aint broke.
