This is EXCELLENT, I've been buying boxed hair dry color, NEVER AGAIN...THIS here is PERFECT, it doesn't drip, nor rub off on my pillow case, last long, this was my first time buying this product, I was skeptical about it, but I AM GLADE,that I bought it, I'm in awe of how long its covering my gray strands, it been 3 days and it's still fully covering...

Excellent Cover-up

I use this to cover my grey roots. It also makes my thin spots seem fuller. It does rub off, so be careful about putting your head on the back of a white chair or sofa. It could also rub off on a hat or your date's white shirt. I use a dark throw on my recliner to protect it. It washes out of fabrics or off your hands easily.

It worked perfectly!

Note: a couple small spots that got a little too much spray turned a little orange BUT ALL IT TOOK TO FIX IT AND LOOK PERFECT WAS DABBING THE SPOTS GENTLY WITH PAPER TOWELS. 

Also I used this BEFORE getting dressed to avoid any spray getting on my dress.

I really wanted to leave a review - I was nervous because there were quite a few negative reviews

⭐*for Blondes w Dark Roots ! ⭐

I've tried a lot of products in this space.  Different sprays, some powders, even a high end cream/powder duo. This root touch up is, in my opinion, the best if them all. Sometimes I think it costs too much. But... let's face it. When you need this, it is clise to priceless. This makes my part less noticeable and most importantly, covers my gray! It doesnt come off on my hands or clothes, and looks extremely natural. Thank you, L'Oreal!!

L'Oreal Paris magic root cover up covers my hair, even grays, very well. It doesn't run down my face when I sweat at the gym or if I'm out in the rain. The only reason why I gave it a 4 star rating is because it sprays all over the place. I clean off the sprayer and around it and the color still gets on my face, sometimes my arms. If it weren't for that, I would definitely give it a 5 star rating!
So when I use it, I always have a damp paper towel ready to wipe off. Also I spray it before I put my makeup on!!

Covers my hair, even grays, very well

I had a hard time saying I would recommend, but it certainly may work better for others. Now let me say I have bought it multiple times because this the only real option for root spray in Red. BUT It Is NOT Red. I have called the company multiple times to say the product works good in general and if it was red like the can it would be fantastic! But, it is not, it is a dark brown. And I am not saying this just based on how it looks in contrast to my hair, but when some may spray/drip on my face, or even where I try to rub it around in my hair, my fingers have a dark brown tint, I really see no hint of red. I do not know what else to say. I can blend it okay for a little with my hair, but not much since the color is so.. not red.  I do not know about the other colors of course. But I am pretty sure blonde was not really blonde either when I spot checked it in a store one day (I thought, that is a really difficult color for a spray! As apparently is red.)

It works, but the color is questionable..

It is messy, sprays everywhere. Make sure to use gloves and cover your clothes, face, middle part. I left it to dry prior to touching my hair for 40 min and it was still not dry after. Careful it will stain clothes. Not sure how you sleep with it, not a good idea. If I touch my hair accidentally it left stain on my fingernails even a day later.

Messy application, wear gloves, cover everything

The price seemed a little high, but I was expecting the same size that I get when I order Clairol root touchup. Much to my surprise the L'Oreal can wasn't even half the size! I will be returning this one. Even with a dollar off promo to buy it, this was more of a gimmick.

Tiny Can!

BEWARE It's been 3 days and I've washed my hair 4 times and still can't get it out. I regret purchasing and trying to use this to help make it to my next hair appt. It looks worse now than before I used it. I don't understand the high reviews. My hair looks greasy and feels waxy.

The color was all over my fingers every time I touched my scalp. My hair got wet in the rain, my face was full of color so embarrassing.

The product did color, the after was horrible.
