Coloring Effectiveness

Look

Has a shade that matches or closely matches natural hair color.

Application process is straightforward and fast.

Overall it was easy and the color blended nicely with my highlights. I'm really happy with how it turned out. I'm curious what it will look like in 4 weeks
The smell is bad and burns my throat a little but smells normal for chemical dyes.

covered my roots!

walmart.com

I love this hair color. I have a blondish grey hair and I started coloring the undercut a darker brown with the ombré look. It sounds crazy, but it actually made me look younger because otherwise it look like I had a white cotton ball for hair. This is extremely easy to use. Only takes about 15 minutes from start to finish and the color is excellent. This also comes in various shades so you can go down a shade or up one without any extreme results. I have been using this for over a year and would recommend it.

Hides the gray!!

So far so good. I am 45 year old african american with natural curly hair. I started getting grays 3 years ago. I did not believe the old saying of not plucking them. So i did. Well believe it to be true. DONT pluck. More seems to appear in the area you plucked. At any rate, I don't have many grays but the ones that are visible are just that-visible. I used a stick that looks like lipstick to cover the strands. It worked however, if you touched your head with hands, then your hands were black. So I decided to give this a try. The instructions were simple and to my surprise, the color was a perfect match. My hair is shiner and so far I am pleased. The picture i posted may seem as if i have gray but its just the light and the shine. Trust me, its ALL black. I will update this post after a month to tell everyone what the results are. So far, it has done the trick. Just want to see how long it really lasts.

Great for my naturally curly hair.

Its good,cover gray hare perfect,Easy to using.Thanks

Geslav

While many of us first turned to this kit during quarantine to manage salon closures, it has remained my go-to for quick, professional-looking touch-ups between appointments. The 4 Dark Brown shade blends seamlessly with my natural color, effectively masking grays without looking flat or overly saturated. The updated precision applicator bottle and soft brush tip make the 10-minute application process incredibly clean and efficient for busy schedules in 2026.

Quick and Reliable Shade Matching

L'Oreal's root rescue is a great product for a quick touch up. It covers gray beautifully and takes little time. Apply, have a cup of coffee and rinse, style and go! It's really that easy. 10 Minutes to a refreshed look between color! It's not a matte ink look, but vibrant color that reflects light. I've been using it for years.

Refreshed look in minutes!

I cannot believe I waited this long to try a root touch‑up. All these years I thought, “I'm not paying for a one‑time use just to color my part.” Well… guess what? I WILL PAY. Happily. Joyfully. Throwing confetti. This little miracle has changed my entire hair‑coloring life. It is SO easy and SO stress‑free I actually laughed at myself afterward. No gloves. No bowls. No towels sacrificed to the dye gods. None of the full‑head setup that makes you feel like you're prepping for a NASA launch. Instead? I did ONE thing. Waited ten minutes. Tilted my head back in the shower like a gl hampoo commercial. Done. The paint‑brush applicator is brilliant — it puts the color exactly where you want it, no mess, no blobs, no “oops, I dyed my ear.” And the freedom… oh my god, the freedom. I will never go back to full coloring every few weeks if I can keep my roots perfect with this. Full color is now a “sometimes” thing, not a “my whole afternoon is gone” thing. I'm genuinely thrilled this was on sale because it pushed me to finally try it. And now? I'm a root‑touch‑up evangelist. This tiny tube just handed me back hours of my life.

GASP! SO EASY!!!!

I am so glad I decided to try this. When I opened the box I wasn't sure it was going to do the job but I was pleasantly surprised. It was so easy to use %26 not a huge mess, actually I didn't even have to clean any of it up from the floor or sink. It went right where I needed it to. Was the perfect amount of color. And the shade matched my hair better than the other permanent color I use.

Great for roots %26 easy to use

The ease of use is definitely true. The color seems to have changed a bit over the years. I have used this shade (dark blonde) for about two years. This last time my hair appeared reddish and brassy. My hair was left extremely dry as well. This doesn't include a separate conditioner which in my opinion is a must. While I loved this in the past, I don't think I will use it again.

Did formula change?

When I placed 4 of these in my cart the price on the Walmart shopping site was %26 still is $5.00. I was charged $6.97 each
