I like a shadow that has a Matte finish.. I'm 62 and I hate the sparkly eyeshadow. It just makes your wrinkles show up more. It's very unnatural and only for the young. So I finally find a eyeshadow I love which is Cups Joe #839. Now I cannot not find it anywhere and not even able to order it. Why do you make up people think everything has to sparkle. I'm at my Witt's end.. What can I do.

These are nice shadows for drugstore. The colors are pretty, and decently - but not outstandingly- pigmented. Their texture is on the dry side, but they go on OK and blend OK. I recommend a primer and/or base to bring out the colors even better. The packaging is sturdy, and is quite pretty with the gold frame and the curved shadow pan. The curved shadow pans make it a bit hard to get the shadow on your brush. These are nice enough that I'll keep and use the ones I got, but not so great I'd buy more. I really don't understand why everyone is raving about these and they sell like hotcakes. There are better shadows on the market.

I have only 2 stars to give on my favorite make up line?!  Unbelievable.  The reason for that is when I tried a little shadow to test the color, I used the applicator inside the product container/ the whole applicator crumbled black sponge particles onto my eye lid.  The applicator is horrible.  PLEASE, Loreal, fix your application brushes for your eye shadow products.  I can't always go out and buy a fancy applicator for my make up.  Sometimes I rely on the manufacturer to supply a descent applicator brush in the product.    The eye shadow colors are terrific.

The foam tipped applicator totally disintegrated! Must be very old stock for that to happen on both ends. I can't comment on the eyeshadow till I buy a pack of applicators from a store!

Very disappointing.  I wanted matt eyeshadow and only the light brown wasn't glittery. Pretty much a waste of money for me. However if you like glittery eyeshadow it could be perfect for someone else. The consistency was nice and colors perfect. Blends nice.

The fault is not with the actual cosmetic, but rather the mishandling and tampering with the product..  Beware of products offered via 3rd party sellers.  The lid on the eyeshadow container apparently was damaged before shipping.  When I received the product, it was tightly covered with adhesive tape,  (not part of the original packaging) which was difficult to remove and left a hot mess of residue on both the top and bottom parts of the container.  The hinge piece was missing--therefore not able to store the item without using a rubber band, and there was no applicator in the space provided in the container.  I requested a refund from the seller and was given a prompt refund.

Decent product if you buy it directly from source.

Received this item with seal broken, applicator broken and falling apart, lid was broken and not attached.  Not worth returning so it went in trash.  I will pay closer attention and not buy from this seller again.
