Thanks for the trial. Unfortunately the red was too much for my age and colouring to go out into the real world with. It feels nice on the lips but I can't comment on its staying power or drying effects, I didn't wear it long enough for that. I cant say I notice a 2 tone effect, it seemed more like a worn off lipstick and deep lip liner effect to me. One for the youngsters I think.

Got this as a pressie from L'Oreal. The lip pen is very attractive and I meant to try it so it was a lovely surprise. 

The shade I was sent doesn't really suit me since my skin undertone is blue, but I was able to judge the ease of application, the final look and the lasting power. All very good, but lips need to be very well moisturised otherwise the product settles on the dry patches and it looks uneven. What I like is that you don't feel you're wearing anything. It's like your lips look like that naturally.

This product is amazing. It stays on all day and still looks just as good. Love everything about it

Nice syurprise to reecieve this in the post. Not a colour I would have chosen either, so a double delight when I tried it and loved it. Looks great on and doesn't move.

I got this as a try-me product. I was sent Disturbia,  bold red, I thought that's a shame as I like nudes. But  I really liked it on . You can build up the colour, it's not drying , my only reservation is it's not very long lasting. I'm keeping it for going out! Thanks! X

was surprised when I received my MATT MAX LIP PEN. 
I received 006 DISTURBIA not keen on the name 
i like the applicator and the colour.
it was easy to use and not messy. nice feel on my lips.
colour lasted well did leave a mark on glasses and cups but did not affect colour on lips.
I would buy again.

I was lucky enough to receive this in the shade 006 Disturbia so thank you L'Oreal.
Unfortunately this is a very bright orange/ red so did not suit my pale and cool toned skin. However I think it would  look great on darker skin tones.
The sponge applicator means that the product is easy to apply and gives great control however I personally do not like this type of applicator in that I cannot  clean it effectively as I would be able to with a lip brush.
I found the product to be very drying and your lips would need to be moisturised fully before use since it clings to any dry areas and  settles into all lines and creases. I did think the depth of colour was good and liked the velvet matt look. I found the product did last quite a while and had faded to a nice stain.
Not for me but thank you for the opportunity to try something different.

Really, really liked this lipstick. It's very easy to apply, no smudged edges and lipstick teeth. Looks fab and stays on without creasing. Gives me a very natural red lips look and doesn't dry my lips. Didn't notice the ombré effect, but then I'm quite light-handed with the application.

Lovely surprise to receive by post. Not my usual shade but gave it a good try. My husband liked the two tone effect. I prefer one shade. It did stay on longer than my usual lipstick
