I have bought 2 of these, both garbage. They “leak” toner onto the copied/printed pages creating powdery smears all over the page, even with the print density on the Brother adjusted back to minimum. The toner does not fuse properly to good-quality 20lb laser paper, even with the Brother set to “improve toner fixing” compensation setting. Then after a few hundred copies/prints it acts like it's running out of toner, with dropouts and faint print in solids, even if the density is set back to normal. These come in a “Pearltone” branded box. They are specified as being compatible with my Brother MFC-L5800DW multifunction printer. I would not buy “Pearltone from anyone, for any machine, ever again. My best guess is that the toner they use is incorrect for my printer, or just very bad quality. OEM Brother cartriges and a different generic/aftermarket brand work fine in my machine, there is no doubt whatsoever that the problem lies with these Pearltone toner cartriges.

Complete waste of money, terrible quality
