Value For Money

Offers competitive pricing, but can be expensive for some users.

Can be high-quality, but cartridge life varies.

Can be high-yielding, but often falls short of stated capacity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed Brother cartridges and it was easy to distnguish on the walmart site. I have ordered cartridges from amazon but got confused -and it turned out the products i ordered from amazon were not Brother cartridges. the cartridges from Amazon did not work!! So am really happy with how smoothly my ordering from Walmart went.

walmart.com

Apparently Brother is having problems getting black ink. All places seem to be out of it. Unfortunately, I just bought this printer so I'm not going to buy a new one. So I have bought the color ink in hopes that will tide me over until they get black ink back. These are good ink cartridges although I feel like the XL could print more pages than they do. Quality is good. Quantity could be better.

Good Ink Cartridges

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took the risk too long in using off brand ink %26 it ruined my last printer. Never again will I use anything but name brand

Only brand name from now on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looking for replacements for my printer. None of the online vendors had any that would work. Walmart did!

Perfect fit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a lot of research, this was the best price I could find for the genuine Brother ink cartridges.

Good price!!

PROS: Print quality is very good. Copies are excellent with Brother Ink Cartridges. CONS: Cartridges do not print 500 sheets (XL) before a new ink cartridge replacement is needed. Brother ink cartridges prices are expensive.

PROS %26 CONS

Brother Customer Service

Why is so difficult to purchase ink, if I would have known this I would've purchased a different printer

Ink issues

brother-usa.com

The ink prints too light. I have had other Brother printers in the past, and the quality of the printer page was much darker and crisper. The current pages look washed out. I have a Brother laser printer and it is now my default printer. I have put the new black and color cartridges in the printer and it doesn't make any difference. I am very disappointed with the printer. The only thing I use it for is to print envelopes. It seems to print them darker than any letter size pages.

Washed out pages

I never get more than 50 pages out of these XL ink cartridges. I print recipes, receipts, airline tickets, etc. The print quality is good, but out of the last 5 cartridges I've used, they don't last and I consider them so bad that I'll never buy another brother product. I actually weighed the new vs empty ink cartridge and there was only 8 grams difference. The marketing is nothing close to the truth. Avoid.

Less than 50 pages

Brother

LC401XL3PKS The Black went down already, less than 50 pages, is it a scam, I wish they would refund us, since it's very costly. I need to order another set, hopefully it will go upto 500 pages as they advertise for. I had also non-brand inks, it is not compatible any more since the firmware on the printer got automatic upgrade.
