The shoe dye worked as well as expected and was easy to apply.  The instructions do not say so, however, I would suggest wearing latex gloves when applying.   I am satisfied with the results.

It penetrated very deeply, and now my shoes look really good again. Way better than just polish. I used this with the window open to avoid any fumes. This is a great tool

I would never use this again. It was extremely messy verses the cream dye I ended up buying. There is very little control over amount used. It was like water and ran everywhere.
