I have this company's tool for regular lights and I just received the LED version last night.  So this evening I anxiously tried it out on 3 different strings.  A partially lit string with mini led lights, partially lit with the large c9 type bulb cover and a totally out set.

I read the directions which I initially dreaded, anticipating complicated directions.  I know zero about wiring.  It was completely straightforward forward so I began to process of identifying problems.  I thought it would be more complicated than non led lights which i already repair with this company's original product.

Within the hour,  all three sets are now completely working including one where problem was the "pod", and I plowed ahead, cut the wires and used the included replacement pod and it fixed the problem!

Money well spent for this miracle product that a senior could easily do it.

I'm telling my son in law to hand over any light sets for me to fix before tossing them out.  Lights are too expensive to give up on when they go out after two years of only holiday use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The device worked as specified and did help find my bad bulb/wire, so that was a plus. The packaging says it comes with two place markers, but it had none. The company needs to provide more guidance or methods for resolving issues beyond the overview video.  Another suggestion is to provide a clip that connects to the string wires, so you do not need to plug in the end of the string. This isn't easy to do when you are trying to fix already installed lights.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to use it to fix my lights. But I really don't like the fact that it pokes a hole in the wire to test the lights. I feel like that would damage the wire or possibly let moisture into the wire, corroding it overtime and ruining the strand of lights anyway.
