A nice revamp to the old clone battle pack with a similar build and figures. It's good but also really weird to see the Commander clone to be in a cheaper set than what the mini-figure is being sold for. Anyway, good set with a nice build and sweet mini-figures in the 2020 style. This is perfect for people to play with or scrap for parts. Although its is more expensive than most people thought, I would recommend… Well worth it

Great Set, Odd Price

This set would have been really awesome if it wasn't for the inclusion of the clone commander. An Arc Trooper or Jet Trooper would have been brilliant or even a more numerous ranked trooper like a sergeant or lieutenant. 

However, there are some positives. If you are intending to purchase say 2 or more of these sets then the spare guns will be great for replacing the stud shooters you may have. Also the command centre has some really nice parts that could be used for MOCs especially the 4 printed console pieces in each set and the curved maroon pieces. 

This set only really benefits those who have already got a reasonable sized phase 1 clone army and maybe looking to add some clone commanders. The Defence of Hoth is the far better set in this range for building an army from scratch.

Disappointing but not all bad

Although a great compact set on the surface, the price of this set makes this a very underwhelming purchase. The departure from the 4 troopers and a vehicle packs are long gone, replaced instead by 3 trooper packs for the same price. 

The figures are a great addition, however I find it frustrating just how understocked this set manages to be. If you ever happen to find it in stock, goodluck getting more than one in the small span of time you have to get it. Worse even is the fact that no back order option has been given. 

Overall an unimpressive set that is a disservice to the clone trooper battle packs of old

George Lucas - Clone Commander commands hundreds of clones.

Lego - Clone Commander commands two clones and also pilots guns  ships.

"only the best is good enough"

This set would have been much much better if it just provided 3 standard clones.  If they really wanted to add an additional clone, a sergeant or lieutenant would have made much better sense.  It's as if the designers of Star Wars Lego has never seen an episode of Star Wars before in their life.

Lego once again misses the mark.

Yes that's what I saw in the clone wars. 1 commander every 2 clones. Really? 3 white clones would have made this a near perfect set. But they had to re-use that clone commander from the gunship for no reason. No one wanted it. No one asked for it. And no one is excited about it. Clones? YES YES AND THANK YOU! But army building with that many clone commanders is ridiculous. And it over saturated the clone commander. 3 white clones=perfect. This set? Simple mistake ruins the whole idea of an “army builder”
