Building Experience

Secret Compartments

Can be a great value, but also feels overpriced to some.

Include multiple figures with designated storage.

I bought this set for myself as the theme is very nostalgic. The build is relatively easy and thoroughly enjoyable. The model looks stunning once assembled. The video tape is easily the best part. I really hope Lego do more sets like these. The Harry Potter books would look great as a decorative piece.

I love this set. It is freaking amazing. The details are out of this world. My favorite part is the VHS it looks just like a real one. Definitely the secret compartments are a plus. It really brings back memories of my childhood with the movies. It is a must have!

Brings back childhood memories

The set is gorgeous and I am in love! However, most of my bricks were hazy and some edges were chipped right out of the bag. I used the tool to gently pry two black bricks apart and it left dents on both pieces AND the tool! A lot of the edges FEEL rough and sharp and some of the corners are rounded where they should be corners/sharper. Sheesh - this is definitely a build I will NOT allow my child to play with because the bricks are clearly fragile. How awful! My next set was going to be Rivendell but I am not sure I want to spend a huge amount of money on hazy bricks ...😩 5 stars for the set, 2.5 for the brick quality 😢

Brick Quality Poor, Set Fabulous

I am not a Disney super fan and don't typically select the Disney sets, but the second I saw this one my heart skipped! The VHS tape was the coup de grace. This was such a fun build and has so many little detailed surprises! Each mini fig has its little hidey hole. The build took about 5 hours, with breaks while watching childhood movies. The only thing that would make this better is if there were a mini gig for each villain (doesn't have Ursula, Hook, or Queen of Hearts). If you grew up in the later 1900s, this is an excellent set to bring you back to your youth!

Fun nostalgic set

I've build many sets. A Harry Potter fan, and some Star Wars and Disney sets. This build was a amazing! The creator has a fabulous imagination. I love the surprises and hidden things. The VHS is amazing! A definite must for Disney fans!

Love this Disney villains set! It was easy yet fun to build. I love the little hidden compartments you can put the mini figs in. Would definitely recommend!

This set is the perfect build for any Disney fan, which also comes with a massive shot of nostalgia, creating a VHS tape, and building secrets into some childhood favourite stories. The set offers a generous amount of time to build (which can be accompanied with your favourite Disney movies) and is a beautiful and detailed set. Great fun! Would recommend.

Nostalgic Fun.

To start off this is a great build lots of interesting techniques used and some nice part usage on all the books and other items (apple,watch and vhs cassette)however as said by a few others the mixture of stickers and printed elements is frustrating if you've not got a steady hand there's nothing worse. The sleeping beauty book looks unfinished the white flat bricks used are happy giving the appearance it's open or pages are missing could've been finished off like beauty and beast book. Once built and on display the apple is very unstable only having 1 stud to secure on as well as the playing card and the pocket watch cannot be attached to the display at all. It would have been nice to have it attached somehow. The apple could be secured the same way as the vhs tape possibly. Nice display piece tho but could've been better in my opinion.

Disney villains

Overall great lego set. I have spent so long wanting this set but I have a lego budget, and have had the hardest time convincing myself to get it. HOWEVER  I was extremely disappointed when opening this lego set. It was repackaged and was used. In each pouch i was missing legos that I found in other pouches. Stickers were already placed. One of the figures were already put together.  Scratches on parts. It was advertised as NEW not used.
