Minifigures

You get 2 dragon boats and 15 minifigures! The boats resembled the real ones so well and it's fun to build. Not complicated but still has so many witty details. Zongzi is a snack which you wrap rice with leaves. I laughed when seeing bright green ones for the uncooked ones, and dark green ones for the cooked ones. That's how exactly they look like before and after boiling.

LEGO

This is a creative and beautiful set. It is about a special holiday in Asia which is celebrated around the world. Even when we lived in Dallas Texas, the Dragon Boat Festival was celebrated publicly with races of 40 foot dragon boats on Lake Carolyn in May each year. I bought this set in Taiwan because I figured Lego wasnt going to market it here in North America, as Lego did with its "Asia-Exclusive" Chinese New Year's Eve Dinner (80101) and Dragon Dance (80102). Well I am happy that Lego realized there is a market here for sets like this.

Fantastic set. It does need more paddlers in each boat. I'd love to get more paddlers, for my existing boats I'goung to raid my Lego stash to build a couple more boats, but I need to figure out how to order the decals and unique pieces for the boats.

Great Gift for Your Favorite Dragon Boater

This set is AWESOME!!!! You are getting 15 Minifigures, 2 cool looking dragon boats, and a boardwalk area. Unlike the other Chinese New year sets you can actually play with this one. This is great for adult collectors and children. Reasonable price to.

The best seasonal exclusive yet

It's still surreal to me that I was able to purchase 80103 in the U.S. instead of importing it (and paying a hefty sum) from overseas.

This set is simply excellent. The dragon boat race and zongzi wonderfully encapsulate the Duanwu Festival. I love the inclusion of so many minifigures even if most of their outfits don't vary too much, not that they need to as at least 8 of them should be in uniform. I was especially amazed by the details in the zongzi stall. My kids also really enjoyed racing the two dragon boats.

I really liked 80101 and 80102 and now I'm happy to add 80103 to my collection. I hope they keep making these Chinese holiday set. Maybe we'll see a Mid-Autumn Festival set next? One can hope...

Perfect set for dragon boat festival

As soon as it was revealed that this set would be released in the US a couple of months after it was released in Asia I knew i'd get it. And the set doesn't disappoint! It makes me wish the two other Chinese New Year sets were released here as well!
