I was anxious to obtain this set as soon as I saw it in previews. It is probably my favorite smaller set ever! I just love the colorful balloons that are placed perfectly on Jokers jet pack! This set contains two (2) stickers which add greatly to the detail. With a simple push down on the edge of the yellow floor the radioactive barrel bursts open. It is especially great to see Batman literally fly up once activated. You can almost sense the tension as the clock ticks away ready to explode. I recommend this set to young and old alike.

Colorful - Unique & Fun

I bought this set because although I already had The Joker, I just had to have his balloon jetpack too! It is very visually appealing and true to the movie, but it's even better when you have it in front of you and can admire its proportions. 

Most of the other reviews have mentioned that the set is a cheap way to get the two main (and certainly excellent) minifigures, and I enjoyed putting the balloon jetpack together. While I didn't buy the set for the bomb at all, I really enjoyed building it, the Lego designer who created it really thought about how to take the main elements from the movie and produce it in a handful of bricks. It has a computer monitor, hydraulic pipes and wheel valve, clock/timer and a tank "explosion" feature. What's not to like! Lego also include a few extra stud pieces for you to "decorate" or enhance the finished product with your own signature style, which I really liked too.

There are very few cons to this set, the Joker's balloons have come off his jetpack during some light play, but there is a balance between designing the free motion of balloons and their secure tether. Also, one extra blue balloon to make it just like the movie would have made the set truly exceptional.

In conclusion, I was pleasantly surprised with this little set, it's great value for money and best of all it's fantastic to look at and play with too!

"I like to fight around"

This was a great set both for its price and its content .Two great minifigs and nice little build made this set a joy to put together . Its a great way to get the new Batman minifig with the belt accessory and the great new variation on the Joker , one of I believe 4 different versions released so far incl. the low rider , arkham and cmf versions .
The only thing i felt lacking was a good way to show the joker in the air.For that i added the clear pole from the hulkbuster set on top of the white cylinder to add just a little more action .
I am super excited that this is part of a modular build and cant wait to add sets 70901 and 70910 to it and will try to somehow add 70902 to create a great little street scene .

Im your favourite bad guy

My little C is fun! - Oh, my God. - Oh, my God.

Perfect received in good condition.

I just got back from watching the Lego batman movie, and I have to say this is a very accurate set from a scene. The build of the jokers jet pack was very close if not the same to the build we see in the movie. Also, I like it included a bomb, "if you haven't seen the movie don't read on" the bomb was nice, and on the pictures on the back of the box you can see batman swimming to go get the bomb. In the movie that is also true, he wet under the water and stopped the bomb. the bomb in the movie was a little different from the set but then this set would become $30.00 because in the movie the bomb was HUGE. Overall great set, I can't wait to go re-see the movie with my mom.

Pretty nice.....

I consider this as a starter set and I'm pretty happy with the minifigures match. The Joker is colorful and Batman is black (and yellow). Perfect. A little pricey, but it's Batman.

Best minifigures duo

I haven't seen the movie yet, but the associated sets are pretty attractive. This was no exception.

The Joker has a tonne of charisma. Batman looks okay, and the bomb was a nice touch. The kids love it and it got a bunch of play.

A great set for the money!

A fun little set

I enjoyed putting this set together, and love the detail on the Joker minifigure. 

I enjoyed clicking this set together with the wall from 70901 Mr Freeze to make a bigger set. 

This set has a few stickers, which I hate putting on and never age well. Putting the square/diamond shaped sticker on the middle of the big curved panel was particularly difficult.

Great figures and set

This is a great little set that includes Batman and his most iconic villain - The Joker

Counting every DC themed LEGO set stretching back to the first sets (released under the LEGO Batman theme) starting in 2006, this is the cheapest way to get the Joker in a LEGO set. This reason alone is why you should get this set

It comes with a nice Joker balloon that is very well designed, and also a Bomb which is also well designed. It comes with a nice action figure, which is activated with a plate on a rocker piece.

There is no "us". Never will be.

This set is probably the easiest way to get the films main hero and villain, and I love the jokers duel faces. The balloon build is interesting and different, and while the tanker isn't great, it looks better connected to the build from Mr Freeze's set. The main concern/issue for me is jokers coat tails, which aren't very flexible and prevent him standing without the balloon jet pack to prop him up

Overall though, great set just for the figures
