Building Experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was an easy and stress-free build to pass an hour or so while I babysat my mom. It fits in perfectly with the Asian section of my LEGO collection.

The BrickHeadz line has grown on me. I don't find every design in the line to be appealing, but I think this one is adorable.

Adorable Build

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item is very nice. Easy to put together.

So cute

Michael

Growing up in a community with many Chinese families, I have very fond memories of lion dancers. The sights and sounds of the festival; the dynamic energy of the lion!

When I saw this set, I knew it would be my best bet for a first Brickheadz model. And it did not disappoint.

The colours, the piece choices, the excellent details of the costume within the Brickheadz aesthetic: this set is perfect for what it is.

Not only do I recommend this set specifically, but I can also say it has won me over to Brickheadz as display pieces. About the only knock against Brickheadz is that they are better for display than play, in my opinion. But they are also the best sets in this price range that Lego makes.

Stylish cultural figure

LEGO

Last year I bought the dragon dance guy. This year, he has his litter bother, the lion dance guy. Love them so much. His mouth can move. Raaa! Bite U!

Super cute

I enjoyed building and playing with the Lion Dance Guy BrickHeadz model; it is a relaxing time for me. Also, Lion Dance Guy has an awesome and detailed costume for celebrating; I especially like the colorful back and headdress. The drums and lantern accessorize this model well, and the complete lion dude model on the baseplate looks really great on display.
 Overall, nice work, LEGO!

Happy Lion Dance Guy

This was my first BrickHeadz build, looks a lot better in person, liking the intricate details and use of different bricks to bring this character into its form. Great colours too. Everything fits perfectly... Very pleased with this item. Good value for the time it takes to build and for the way it looks.

Great build, better in real life

Henny

I bought this for my self...a grandma because I have purchased other Lego sets for my grandchildren. I had so much fun learning all about putting together a Lego kit! I absolutely loved the way it turned out!!

Colorful Fun project

John

Though middle-aged, I am still attracted to this cute lion dance guy. Love the design, colors and details. Only a little bit annoying was some pieces that didn't stay very well(like the tail and headgear,) I put them back many times. Finally decided use hot glue to firm them, but it doesn't affect my love for him in the end. Also I added extra pieces under the base to change the angle so he can look at me easily and a little girl to stand next to him. That made lots of fun for me.

Had lots of fun

Elisa

It looks beautiful. But the only problem is unstable. When you put the whole lion on the stage, only a small pieces connected two parts together, therefore the lion is easily to fall from the stage. If there is some ways to improve it, i would recommend it.

Looks good but structure is unstable

The lion dance guy isn't sturdy on the black base. This was my second Brickheadz purchase, my first one is still the Lady Liberty one. Too bad the lucky cat one isn't in stock =(

Base not stable
