[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We built a lot of sets from Harry Potter to the fire station and he will love this lots of things to move for the baddie to escape vehicles and a helicopter. The lego city range is his favourite.  I bought whilst on offer so it is well worth the money. He will play with this for hours on end

Perfect present for my son

Have not completed as grandson is 7. Is in pkg. 5.

My child has begged me for this for months on end and we have just got him it for Christmas can't wait to see his little face and even better it was on offer

Brilliant Lego set

Bought for my 5 year old for Christmas and he's going to love it with all the different parts that come with It, hours of fun to come with his dad building this on Christmas morning :)

This is a really great Lego police station I would recommend this set I like the launcher arm on the garage that launches the police car and also I like the explosion that happens on the jail cell.I think that the vehicles in this set are great the vehicle I like the most is the 6 stud wide high speed police car and I like the detail on the helicopter with the small engine outlets up on the top again this is a great set.

I bought this for my son about 5 months ago and finally got to give it to him for the summer holidays. needless to say he loves it.

The set goes together really nicely, the corner details on the office look great and work really well. There is a vehicle launcher to give the police car a fast start.

The mechanism for blowing off the front of the cell wall is a great addition and whilst I first thought that the front wall was going to be falling off all the time, it actually staying in place really well.

I think I would have liked to see the corner office being a little bigger so that the helicopter had a full landing pad as in Police Station 60047, rather than hanging off the back slightly.

There is also a small issue with the helicopter, if you spin the main blades and the tail rotor they will catch on each other, this could be easily solved by either making the blades one stud shorter or inserting an additional 2x2 thin under the rotor housing.

One thing I really like, is that unlike the Firestation 60110 which is also on a corner, there is no angled joints, so this set is much much easier to place into a street scene, and combine into a MOC larger police station. 

It would be amazing if there was a custom baseplate so that the car can be shot out onto a road. (food for thought there Lego)

Calling all Officers

The building of this set wasn't much harder than the last one, but there are some neat aspects that make this a much more enjoyable set than the previous one.

There's a little spot for you to place dynamite and then push a button and the wall explodes out! I only wish the wall was a little more stable when "locked" into the rest of the prison section. The other neat thing is the garage for the police car. Press a "T" handle and the car comes flying out of the garage.

Overall, a fun set. I just wish there was more to the interior, especially of the station itself. The prison section was pretty good, but the station itself was fairly drab.

I purchased a set for my daughter. During the experience of building it, I noticed as we got higher in the set certain parts wouldn't connect down fully and when we try to push them down the pieces but either force up on a different side or the level would collapse. We also noticed that when we try to move the set it would fall apart because of the weight. There's also a step in which you use locking pins to connect the buildings together during the step we had issues because we actually had to forcibly push the pins into the buildings which would lead to them collapsing from our handling. I do like the set but it makes it very difficult for us to play with because we spend a lot of our time trying to reassemble it after any kind a mishap. I would only recommend this to people whose children don't mind going back in rebuilding it or who has a parent to assist him with it if something was to fall. Also a reminder keep the instruction manual adhered you can download the PDF online but it's just better to have the book.
