For Gifting

Features a relatively easy-to-assemble design.

Can be bright and engaging, but also inconsistent or uninformative.

Require frequent replacements due to limited lifespan.

Keeps my kids entertained for hours! You can build any train design you like and it will work on the tracks so long as the train wheels and battery pack are attached. AAA batteries were not included.

love it

walmart.com

My 4-year-old grandson loves this. He needed lots of help putting it together, but could do several steps on his own. It's a fun project to do together!

I bought the train for myself to complete the lego city diorama I've been constructing for some time. The train is very easy to put together, the hub, the remote controller as well as the app connect without any issues, I enjoy the app immensely as it allows to change the weather conditions, features different sounds etc. If I were to find anything negative about the set, it would be the minuscule platform, I will introduce my own improvements and turn it into a proper one though:-) Totally recommended! I have allowed my children to play with the train, naturally!

amazing!

LEGO

This is a very nice train. The passenger and dining cars are very feature rich with lots of play options for kids. Despite the size of the set, it builds quickly and is very enjoyable. The length of each of the cars makes for a very long train overall which results in a tendency to slow down on curved sections of a layout.

Feature filled train

Ever since I was a kid I wanted a Lego train set. Ever since I've started to get adult money there haven't been many with the pizzazz that caught the eye of younger me like the emerald night or horizon express. That is until now. This baby is it. Low slung fast looking and the brick-built arrow on the engine is sick. The green glow from the rear of the running locomotive is a awesome touch in the dark. Oh yea it's got headlights too.

Something special. They did good on this one

Yes, I gave this 5 stars, because no train set ever stands alone. Any avid train model user will always need more track, more decorative pieces and lots of imagination and story line.
In my photos, you would see that my 2 train LEGO train set runs through 5 villages. Starting from the train platform and going counterclockwise, you will encounter Corporate Center, Ferris Fair Grounds, Holiday Center, Jurassic World, Camping World and back to the platform.
Charge up your imagination, sound your horns of thoughts and get to loving trains!

Simple Build, you'll need more track

I absolutely love this train, it really feels and builds like a 2022 train, the graphics, the train, the carriages are all great and I love it.

From a playability perspective you really do need a perfectly flat track, if you run a track on a carpet with undulations you will find that due to the low profile of the carriages they will get stuck

Other than that this is a great addition to the trains from lego

Great Looking Train and Build, OK playability

Great set, very nice to build. Accessible to a 6-year-old with a good construction experience. The only negative, and not the least: batteries! - Yes. 4 for the controller, 6 for the train, which empty quickly! I am so sorry that I don’t have a rechargeable battery right now.

Very satisfied but...

The train is super well designed down to the little details. We'd have hours of games if the train wasn't made to work with PILES! 6 batteries just for the train, not including the remote control! After 3-4 hours of operation, it is necessary to think again to change them. For the price we paid, it's really not possible... Why not put us rechargeable batteries included, in the absence of a battery that recharges on mains for the locomotive? We come to regret our electric lego trains of our time ... :(
