Building Experience

Battery Life

Features a relatively easy-to-assemble design.

Can be bright and engaging, but also inconsistent or uninformative.

Require frequent replacements due to limited lifespan.

I bought the train for myself to complete the lego city diorama I've been constructing for some time. The train is very easy to put together, the hub, the remote controller as well as the app connect without any issues, I enjoy the app immensely as it allows to change the weather conditions, features different sounds etc. If I were to find anything negative about the set, it would be the minuscule platform, I will introduce my own improvements and turn it into a proper one though:-) Totally recommended! I have allowed my children to play with the train, naturally!

Keeps my kids entertained for hours! You can build any train design you like and it will work on the tracks so long as the train wheels and battery pack are attached. AAA batteries were not included.

My 4-year-old grandson loves this. He needed lots of help putting it together, but could do several steps on his own. It's a fun project to do together!

This is the time to jump on this Lego as the previous train retired  has doubled in price. As an eBay seller this a must. Already increased in value n I got two. Thanks Walmart and all it's employees from the greater to its CEO to protect from increased prices n tariffs

This is a great set for young children with a budding interest in Lego. It is relatively simple construction that looks great, and includes the lights, motor, and control. Also includes a small loop of track. The station is simple but the minifigures and their accessories are unique. It says ages 7  but I'm a grown adult and I still had fun putting it together.

Terrific for young Lego fans

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fantastic Lego set.  I love the train.  It is fun to build, not too hard, and it can be remotely controlled to move on its own.  I added more track to make a really long rail layout and my whole family enjoys using it.  It's a great way to disconnect from life and enjoy a simpler pleasure.  I would not hesitate to recommend this set to everyone.

I love this mechanized train. We bou g t extra tracks to make it more exciting.

Great set

I live my set. I've been wanting to get it for years. Building it was great...but the little magnets are not strong enough to pull the carts. The front de-couples on 2. It also shows down alot on the bends. I also have to take a battery out for the lights to go off...not sure if that's how it should be or if fault somewhere. Overall....I still love it and looking forward to building a little town arrou d my track. When or if I can afford to.

Love it but needs a tweak

This train burns through batteries very, very fast.  The remote and train frequently won't sync.  The flashing lights on the remote and train don't offer any helpful information regarding pairing.  You will spend lots, lots, lots of time frustrated changing batteries and fighting with the pairing.  I wish I hadn't bought this.
