Can be rich and vibrant, but also dull and inconsistent.

The reason I chose Walmart for this purchase was that I had actually purchased and received it from Amazon Prime the week before.  When it arrived, the box was torn and one side was crumpled. The gift itself was also crumpled on one side - because the gift was in an oversized box with no packing at all to prevent the gift from being tossed around inside during shipment. After returning it, I ordered it from Walmart for the same price. It arrived very quickly, no damage whatsoever, and the gift itself was protected by cushioned bags - minimizing the likelihood of being damaged in transit. This experience has me reconsidering what had been my "go to" choice of vendors from now on - good job, Walmart!

This was my first lego set after last playing in my childhood. Well worth the price! So many parts of the car can be interacted with after being built... the doors and roof can open, etc.

Super fun and timely delivery

I received this kit as a 60th birthday present and I absolutely love it. 
Nice straightforward assembly with clear instructions. 
Not an exact replica but it certainly shows off the cars character and charm. 
Pictured alongside my actual 1973 Fiat 500. You be the judge.

Fantastic

LEGO

The set is amazing, I love it despite it being a more of it being a model. All I can say about it is Pros but my only Con is it does not have suicide doors like the real car, but it does look good with the normal doors. But overall would recommend 100% thank you for the good set Lego.

Excellent Lego set

I bought this set a number of years ago when it was first released, I just never had the time to build it. Yesterday was a freezing cold day and seemed to be the perfect day to stay inside and build a Lego.
I only do Lego sets once in a blue moon, so was a little apprehensive that this was listed as expert. It was challenging, but not so challenging that it made it not fun. I had little issue putting it together, and it was a fun few hours.
It looks great, is solidly built, and was just a fun build all around.

Great set!

I love the Creator car series, the level of detail is always incredible. This Fiat is no exception.The pale yellow color is outstanding! By far my favorite color they have came out with for the Creator car series. 

One minor issue I found was that the sloped pieces that line the tops of the doors are slightly see-though due to the light color. The darker color bricks behind them are visible through the light yellow. I wish they had chosen lighter colored bricks to put behind these so that they did not show through. 

All in all, fantastic model and a fair price comparable to the previous Creator car series.

Another Great Creator Car

The last time I touched a Lego brick was when my grandchildren were tots. I've never built a kit, just messed around with bricks. I have built other complex car models (Pocher, for example), so this was a new experience.

Summary: I had a blast! It was great fun building this and it brought back memories of the first car I owned... 

Nitty-gritty: It came together with only one little nit - the trunk/boot/engine compartment doesn't quite close all the way because of the tube (water line?), but I can live with that - see photo. I read a lot about people being short of parts, but I had a bunch leftover. I was short one silver part behind the wheel, but I had a leftover grey one, so just used that instead (can't be seen anyway).

Now I'm starting the Aston Martin, and seriously considering the Bugatti. I'm hooked.

Owned a real one a hundred years ago.

I built this set today and it was certainly fun but the inconsistent colors of the bricks was a real letdown. In fact, I was more disappointed with the color inconsistency than I was pleased with the build or the final product. The yellow color is such a fun and cheerful color that it's just a shame the bricks are so many different shades.

Fun set to build questionable brick color quality

This was a really beautiful build and intricately well designed model, true to LEGO's usual standards. I wish I could say the same for its pieces - unfortunately, these don't seem to be of the same quality as the build at all. The finished look was ruined by outer pieces that were so faded they appeared translucent, so much that you can actually see the pieces sitting underneath them. My family and I are big Lego fans/collectors and we've never seen this in a Lego set before. Also, on the sides of the car, especially the doors, the yellow colours are very inconsistent and of different shades, giving it quite a messy look. At first I thought maybe this was done on purpose but then compared it to the LEGO images showcased on this page which make it appear it's all exactly the same shade, and which look a LOT better than the real thing. It's such a shame as this set would have been really perfect if not for these low quality pieces damaging the outside look.

This is the most disappointing Iet I have gotten from Lego. The yellow bricks are in different shade of yellow and it is clearly seen.
