When I bought this set I didn’t expect this format! The finished set is really very large: 78 cm in length and 50 cm in height. The little extra that convinced me to buy it is that it can be motorized with the complement "power functions". As you can see in the video, it is the chain of traction and the tires (at the top) that come alive and make it possible to mount the train on the structure. Speaking of the train, there are two. And this, with a garage track if you do not want to drive them together. As usual, nothing to complain about the assembly instructions: even if some steps are a little repetitive (the pillars), overall, we do not get bored to build it. I recommend it!

I bought this item through a reseller as it's been retired for a few years now and while I paid a significant premium, it was so worth it. The coaster is super fun to build, the tracks are so much fun and the power up connection made it so much cooler. I'll have to find the Loop coaster now in the hopes it'll be just as fun.

This is a great Lego kit, I wish there were no stickers, but thats not a deal breaker, I just dont use them.  This kit is going to retire soon so get it while you can

One of the Best

Hi, all at Lego. Congratulations on creating the best lego set... This rollercoaster now completes our theme park we now have to expand our table for it all to fit.
This item has been a finger sore builder. Which means its well worth the frustration of all those poles and round wide discs that were needed to build it. Plus the crossbar assembly was nipping the skin every time. But despite it, I stayed up till 2 am to complete it. Then the following morning to attach the chain which was quite therapeutic to join all those tiny links... Still not healthy for m thumb and forefinger....lol
Overall a fantastic build and I love how you can crank the carts up then they zoom around fast once around the final top bend. Great looking characters even I'm in it. Yes, I'm a photographer too! I also love rollercoasters. My husband and I hope to one-day visit the Lego house. Trust me patents when I say this....not for under 16 unless totally supervised. Too many tiny parts. Enjoy this guy's, it's the best! Motor on very soon.

Awesome Ride!

Just recently returned from LEGOland California where we went on the LEGO Technic Coaster - way fun! 

What I noticed about the Roller Coaster set 10261 is the track seems almost identical to the Lego Technic Coaster! Now I can "go for a ride" whenever I want! Who-hoo!

Hello FAN from LEGO, I was dreaming by reading the articles that talked about the set. Seeing him in the shop on display, I broke down and bought the set. Reception done recently... remains to find the time for assembly and to buy green plates to consolidate the whole and expose it with the others. Anyway I will have a lot of fun with adding a small camera in the seats and music like THEME PARK;-). LEGO ... have fun

VERY GENIAL

I had them in front first (VIP), and I am not disappointed, 5 day of assembly (2 to 3 h / jrs) easy to carry, on the other hand provide a large place, it is 41 cm wide but it passes on the other hand we are rather on the 90 cm see 1 m long (measured at the top), and 50 cm high a little lower than bigben which 65 cm high if we are fan, do not even look at the price, I recommend it less compared to the taj mahal of 2017. pity that there is no looping lol.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll never forget the day that Trevor Baines, my friend gifted me this Lego set. Growing up on the tough streets of Basildon in the 80s\90s, I never would have expected to have received a gift such as this wonderful roller coaster lego...thing. But, here we are, 6 short years later and I've finally completed it. I like the way the colours are and what the design looks like. It made me smile so much to watch the lego cars go round the track and that I felt like I was at a resort myself! LOL. Would not recomend.

It was the best of times it was the worst of times

It's a counterfeit of the original LEGO. Roller coaster. 
Missing parts, the coaster does not line up to use. Look at my picture, the box it comes in is wrong does not say Lego anywhere on it, and says 6  not 16  —- but the description and price said Lego.

I can not believe Walmart would sell counterfeit
