I have purchased lots of duplo train sets. This is the best one. My grandson has had lots of fun with it. The other day we had his friend over and both wanted the battery powered engine. Needless to say I wish I had bought two of them. The non-battery powered ones are probably better the younger they are but he is 4 now and loves to send it all over the house building tracks around the furniture. The duplo tracks are excellent in helping a child engineer different projects.

Great product! My son got it for his 3rd Birthday and loves it.  I was very impressed that the train turns off automatically after a few minutes. That is a great battery saver for when small children leave it on and move on to something else.

Great product!

This was a Christmas gift that my grandson could not get enough of! The train sets oval track is easy to put together and the train itself provides great train sounds while circling the track. Even filling up the train with gas makes a fun noise that my grandson loved!
This train set holds up to its name as it is perfect for a first train set.

We bought extra tracks so the train can cruise around a Duplo city she built

This train set works so well & can easily be assembled & run by my 3 year old grandaughter. It stays on the track & even shuts itself off if she moves on to another activity. You definitely want to purchase additional track for more fun. Works well around Christmas tree

Duplo train

My four year old purchased this with his birthday money and has not stopped plying with it since it arrived. It met all my expectations. The only complaint is that I could not find it in stores and had to order it on-line.

Great toy for any kid that loves trains!

My 3 year old grandson loves it. As far as Lego goes, it is well worth the $40, comparing it to the other Lego sets that are way over priced for what you get, but you buy it because what child doesn't love building with Legos. Anyway, this set is lots of fun but I do suggest spending the extra to get the additional track for more options.
